Disappointed

Always have trusted Rubbermaid. This is a piece of junk. The extender doesn't lock in place. I finally used masking tape to secure the handle in the extended position.

Made in China not the USA

Rubbermaid products used to be pretty decent quality. What happened? They outsourced their labor to China. I have 12 ft ceilings and beadboard throughout my 150 year old home. The extension rod is very flimsy and cheaply made. I am very careful that it might break. The duster part is fine and does the job. The description said made in the USA yet the packaging has a label that says made in China. I noticed other posters/customers had the same experience. Lesson learned. Either try to buy locally or pay a little more and get the made in the USA. I won't be returning the item but I won't be buying from this merchant in the future. Buyer beware.

Cobwebs Beware!

I bought this duster because I needed a feather-type duster which could reach up into the corners of our living room and bedrooms with their high ceilings to swipe away those pesky cobwebs. This product by Rubbermaid does exactly what I want it to do! The telescoping feature and lightweight nature of this product make it very easy to clean out hard-to-get-to places beyond the reach of someone who doesn't play in the NBA! Thankyou Rubbermaid!

Easy to use and does the job

Looking to perform a quick dusting in your house? Buy this duster. Easy to use and clean afterwards. Extends to get to those hard to reach places. This our second one. I now use the first one for all our outdoor furniture to quickly clean the dust off.

WOW - what a time saver!

I researched and fund this type of duster was considered to be one of the best, and this one IS! I bought Fuller Brush dusting spray to use with it and this thing picks up the dust & hold it until you shake it out, simply wonderful! Makes in-between dusting a quick & easy! Love it!

Worth the price

I used this for dusting high lamps and fans, and getting cobwebs out of corners. It worked really well for that. It would have been more convenient if it extended a bit more, or if it had a bend, to get the top of the fan blade more easily, but the ones that had those characteristics cost three times as much. This certainly did the job.

Dust clings onto this duster

I'm very happy with this traditional duster. It just works. And I don't need to buy "refills" like my other Swiffer duster which constantly consumes money. The telescopic want is not the best quality but it's light. I just dust around then take it outside and spin with the palms of my hands to shake off the dust. Dust clings onto the fuzzy lambswool and leaves your TV and counter top clean.

Works like a charm

Forget those disposable dusters that cost a fortune and don't seem to work as seen on TV, this does it so much better. Dust sticks to the wool like, well, you know ... and it is simply a matter of shaking it outside to see how effective it has been. Handle is plastic but still very sturdy, it extends and has a loop on end for hanging. There is a small risk of your cat attacking it in a jealous rage. Just sayin'.

Great, for the price

This is great for the price, close to $10. I wouldn't pay more because as some folks mention, the telescopic handle isn't all that solid. But overall it's a great duster. I still use it to reach high places, but because it easily falls off I have to do so carefully. Otherwise, it's helped make dusting easier and does a good job.

OK Product

I'm not sure what I expected but the fluffy end is longer than I thought it would be and bigger so a little awkward to use, the handle is very long and adjustable so it does reach hard to reach places.

Pros, This is a good duster, nice it can extend to harder to reach areas. Cons, the handle is very flimsy and keeps coming apart. Also, the lambs wool cannot be removed for washing.
