Overpriced

Pricey. Not snug.

This cost as much as the bin so I hoped it would be perfect, but it is very loose on the trash can, even with a bag on the waste bin. Since this is outdoors, I don't know if I will keep it. Disappointed.

Does what it should as well as possible

The job description is simple enough... cover the opening of the trash can and keep as many nasty smells contained as possible. Grandma once gave me the oddly specific and seemingly irrelevant guidance, 'If your going to be a trash can lid, be the best darn trash can lid you can be.' This lid must have had the same grandma I did because it is crushing it. It sits on top of the can firmly and comes off when you want it to. It is durable and simple, so there is no way for it to malfunction and breaking it would require effort or complete carelessness. If you have the matching trashcan and want a lid, this is your lid.

Great, but pricey

Expensive cover for your slim jim trash can. That being said it fits over the can very well when you have a trash bag in the container. Its very sturdy and should last a lifetime. I think this is a better choice than the lids that swing. I saw a lot of bad reviews for the swinging lids, which turned my decision this way. It definitely keep the smell down. I do believe that is was money well spent.

Trash can lid

This lid is great, I definitely needed one to help keep the smell down in the kitchen. It fits perfect! My in laws have the swinging lid one on there’s, but I’ve noticed when the trash gets full it’s hard to keep the smell and the trash in the actual garbage can. Definitely worth the money on this one though.

Just right

It fits my Rubbermaid Slim Jim container. The other lids I found had slots or doors, I found this one with a handle and it does just what I need. Shipping was extremely fast and communication with the seller was excellent.
