Super comfy, just two notes
I ordered these shorts (in the teal color) to pair with a Roxy rash guard top for a cruise to the Caribbean this winter. I wanted some swim wear that would be covering and protective for some active water activities. I've had 2 kids (one just 3 months ago!) and I don't think I'll be showing off my stomach again! I had 2 issues with these shorts: 1. The size chart is way off! Find what size you are on it, and then subtract a size. Maybe even 2 if you want them tighter. I have 40'' hips so I should be a large, but I ordered a medium given other reviews notes about sizing. And the medium is loose! There's a band to tighten inside, so I think they'll be fine, but I'm still losing weight post baby, so I'm hoping they're not too big by the winter! 2. The color- they don't match the Roxy rash guard top I ordered. The teals look very similar in the picture. I know you can't go by that, but usually items from the same brand in the same line are meant to be paired with one another. The rash guard top has two different teals and these shorts match one of them. Unfortunately not the prominent one.

Comparison of Women's vs Junior's Roxy Endless Summer Boardshorts
I usually wear bikini bottoms, but I needed boardshorts once I enrolled my daughter in Parent & Me swim classes. I didn't know what the difference between the Women's Endless Summer Boardshort and the Junior's Endless Summer Boardshorts were. The only difference I can see first hand was that the Junior's had more reviews and a few cents cheaper. I ordered both, and really like the Women's boardshort better. I'm pretty shocked that more people reviewed the Junior's size since for the $.41 cent difference, the Women's boardshort is made far better and have more features. First, the most noticeable difference is that the Women's boardshort has a silk screen print logo VS the Junior's which has the embroidered patch (like the ones you see on girl scout vests). The Women's also has additional fabric along the hems which make it look more elevated VS the Junior's which looks just like stitching. The other more notable differences are that the Women's offers a inner drawstring which is a huge plus since you can tighten it to fit you VS the Junior's which doesnt have one at all. And the Women's also have a back pocket with a zipper VS the Junior's which doesnt have it either. Overall the Junior's size fits a tiny bit more snug which was expected since they were made for Junior's vs Women's. I've also attached pictures so you can compare. I labeled the pictures that are Junior's, and the ones that don't have any labeling are Women's.

Wonderful swim shorts
I love these shorts! Purchased the blue to use as a bottom to a swimsuit top. The color is more turquoise than jade. They are not lined so some type of underwear is needed but that's not a problem. I liked them so much I turned around and ordered the black. I'm a chubby sized 14 and struggle with muffin top but not in these. When wet they don't slide down and they dry quickly. They are quite short and I would prefer another inch in the inseam. However, they are wonderful for anyone who is no longer comfortable in a regular swim suit bottom and wants a little more coverage. These could easily be worn over a swim suit but I prefer a tankini top and the shorts. I would say that if you wear between a 12 and 14, the XL would be a good fit. They have a low rise waist that is cut generously and won't give you muffin top. If you've tried the Roxy board shorts that have the yoga style roll down waist band, these are the same without the fold over band. I much prefer these.

Large
The waist fits well but if you have wide hips with thighs clapping I say order a size up for a room on thighs.

Super stretchy waistband
The bottom part of the shorts fits perfectly. I’m a little disappointed at how stretchy the waistband is. I bought them to wear high waisted with the wait up to help keep my tummy in. It’s so stretchy it doesn’t really do anything. I might try to alter it by the martial is soooo stretchy I would have to take in a lot. They are super comfortable and very flattering otherwise.

Ordered a second pair in a size smaller... WAY SMALLER!
I bought these originally in black size L and love them but though the L was just touch too big so I bought the striped ones in a M.... WAY too small... like my butt cheeks are barely covered and I don’t have a particularly big butt! I have to return the M and get another pair of the L bc I love them so much!

Fine
I have a bit size up as my hips is as wide as 39’. It’s fine in hips position but quite loose in waist. Lucky its design like materity pant so it still secure my waist. I buy Medium. The color is not as light as the picture.

Loved these
I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. Roxy clothing fit smaller, I knew that going in, as I've purchased from them before. It worked well for daughter though.

Nice shorts for swimming
I got a size smaller than I was due to the review suggestions and it fit well. It's not flared on me like in the picture. Its tight on my thighs but that's what I wanted. Very nice.

Cute short for the beach
The fold over waist is not convenient for quick beach wear but other than that it's a great short.
