Cute Chair But Difficult to Assemble

This chair looks great. It should have taken only 15 minutes to assemble. You just have to attach the back to the seat and the two front legs to the seat. However... two of the 8 screw holes did not line up with the threads. I tried to widen the holes, but that didn't work, so ended drilling two deck screws in their place for extra support. Also, it was a bit tricky getting the screw holes for the legs lined up. Assembly took about 45 minutes. The chair cost only $100, so you get what you pay for.

Exactly what I expected and is perfect

I wanted a low profile accent chair for reading and relaxing in a bedroom and selected this chair. It arrived in perfect condition, all parts included, and was easy to assemble with the tools provided. On a hard floor surface, not all four legs were even, maybe 1/3 inch wobble. Once placed on carpeting in the bedroom, it is stable.

Pretty chairs! Not terribly comfy.

Shockingly cute for the price point. However, as these are not chairs used daily or often they will work fine. If comfort is a consideration, you may want to look elsewhere. As esthetically pleasing is as stiff and frankly uncomfortable these chairs are.

Better than expected...

Based on other reviews, I didn't expect this to be as sturdy or well-made as it is. I wanted something for my office that would be for the occasional visitor and it suits the space nicely. Yeah, it's a little lower to the ground than one might prefer, but if it isn't a primary seat, it would be fine and looks nice.

Pleasing to the eye, not for frequent use.

I shopped for and purchased these chairs specifically for style and bargain because they were for my office and not my home, and had a budget to consider. One of the third-party sellers on here sold the chair for $20 cheaper than a competitor site but had a 1 chair per customer limit. I bought the single chair from that seller, and three from another site. They all arrived on the same day. To look at the boxes and the chairs, they are all absolutely identical in every way. All four chairs have inconsistencies which is to be expected to a degree when you are buying mass-produced products from a factory in China. The instructions are not correct, which depict two bolts to secure each front leg (bag legs are built into the back of the chair), and two bolts to secure the seat to the backing. There's actually six bolts that secure the seat to the back of the chair. Of those six bolts, two rows of three bolts, I could not get a bolt to screw fully into the back of the chair. After starting each strew, I started right to left to secure. It didn't matter if it was the top or the bottom row, the last screw I have put in to each chair could not be fully secured. It does not appear to have any effect on the stability of the chair, because there are five other screws. A sheet was enclosed to request replacement parts to Round Hill Furniture at an Ohio address, but I'm pretty sure the screw isn't going in because the hole wasn't drilled correctly in production. Three of the four chairs have a shortened leg that causes the chair to rock when you sit down or stand up. It's not as noticeable with the chair backs against the wall. I will put the felt furniture stickers on the bottom that keep the legs from scratching the floor, but it is an imperfection. They look very nice in my office's lobby for the occasions when someone has to wait, but I don't think I would have them for frequent use.

Sturdy, well-constructed and affordable

PROS: - sturdy construction (back of chair and back legs are one piece, which means no wiggle chair legs over time) - neutral color scheme fits in well with lots of decor styles - fabric is nice, thick, tight-woven cotton CONS: - cushion a bit stiff (though I'm expecting this to soften with time and become more comfortable, as is the case with other slipper chairs we have had) Really nice chair, especially for just over 70 dollars. The fabric is a thick, tight-woven cotton, the pattern was placed straight (so no cricket zig-zag lines) and the colors are a bright white and cool gray tone, which fits well with many decorating styles because of the neutral tones. My favorite part of the chair construction is that the chair back and legs come as one piece. The back legs aren't simply screwed on, rather the wood continues on up all along the side of the chair back, which makes for a very sturdy chair. We have had other slipper chairs before this one and one complaint I usually have is that they start to wiggle and become less stable over time, due to the legs being simply screwed on without much support across — this chair construction remedies that issue. The seat cushion is a bit stiff, but my experience is that this is normal for slipper chairs and the cushion softens after a bit of use — so not an issue for us.

Beautiful and ok quality for the price

Beautiful pattern and the chairs are quite large. Live them so much but they are overly firm so not all that comfortable, and the kegs are different lengths so they aren’t level which is annoying. I wasn’t expecting a ton of comfort for the price point but the legs being uneven is definitely disappointing.

Great looking chairs!

These small space chairs are the perfect size for my family room - not too bulky or large and they look very classy for the price! They are decent to sit on - well made with springs to ensure the cushion doesn't sink. Very happy with them!
