Sturdy and versatile!
This is a very sturdy and well made rod. Could hold a pretty good amount of weight, more than the cafe' curtains I have on it now. And if I move it can easily be used on another sized window!!

Damaged during shipping, replacement OK but still bent on arrival
These rods are incredibly hard to find at the size, thickness, and depth that I needed. This was the only option I found, and after waiting three weeks for it to arrive it came in an undamaged box with plenty of paper packing; yet the rod was bent inward at both ends, with one end completely crushed where it would attach to the wall. Clearly damaged during packing. Requested a replacement, which took another two or three weeks to arrive. That one was shipped loose in the box, no paper packing material at all. This was was slightly bent at one end, but I was able to gently move it back into position and make it mountable. Once mounted, it appears to be strong enough to support the four sheer curtains I have for the window without any strain along the rod at all. Not sure how this rod would hold up with more-substantial curtains mounted on it. I cannot install the support hook that it came with, due to the double window the rod is mounted around having a metal frame covered by a thin wood veneer; no way to drill a hole in the window’s center for the hook to go in. So I’m glad the rod appears strong enough on its own. I’m just hoping that the ends don’t bend over time, given how easily both rods had issues on delivery.

Good quality curtain rod
Very impress with the sturdiness of the rod along with the brackets, and supports. I will buy more and recommend others too.

Damaged end piece.
The rod is placed in a box with no protection of either end of the rod. During shipping, the rod is free to move within the box. The end piece of the rod was bent and distorted due to banging of the box during shipping. It was fixed, but a small protection piece on the end of the rod would prevent damage. Possibly a small peiece of bubble wrap taped to each end of the rod. Other then that, the rod is exactly what I wanted and will do the job

Not the best hardware provided, but great end result.
Update: I should have looked at target in person first (I did look online but couldn’t find them)... they had these exact same curtain rods for a fraction of the price. Room essentials for $1.50 each.... disappointed i paid a lot more for these now!! I needed a solution for two small windows in a child’s room for blacking it out. I purchased these with high hopes because they curve around to block out side light from the windows. I’m happy with the final product, however the installation wasn’t the easiest. It’s only four screws per bar (easy), but the hardware provided sucked. I ended up using my own screws which wasn’t a problem because I had them on hand, just a minor inconvenience. The anchors provided bent and folded in on themselves when lightly tapped with a hammer. The instructions said to drill a 1/8th hold and it was too small... in turn busting the anchor. I ended up just finding studs in the wall and installing them with a longer strew to the stud with no anchor. End result: great! Process of getting them up: annoying

This would have been great
I got these in a few days ago after waiting what felt like a month for them. Sadly they were damaged in shipping and are not usable. But I can say that these would have been perfect; they are super strong and durable have a good weight to them and a solid construction. The mount brackets are your typical brackets but work great. 120" it can extend further but that would weaken the middle when extended to 120" it still has quite a few length of rod inside to make it strong and sturdy. I just wish that they didn't come in damaged and I could use them. The pan was to put up two rows of heavy duty blackout curtains to work as a separator for the living room and kitchen/dining area. These could definitely handle the weight but with crease in them now they can't and would collapse under the weight of the curtains. I would definitely get again in the future but not online; the long wait and damaged goods is not worth the money. (How about now amazon will you take my review?)

It is great for kitchen valance, which wraps around to the side of the rod where it attaches to wall.
