Perfect in every way!
The media could not be loaded. Have searched high and low for an affordable solution to my patio doors. I wanted to be able to push all curtains to one side, and wanted something unobtrusive/low profile. Rod is very lightweight but sturdy in the brackets, which are well made and easy to use. Be careful not to scratch it or tighten the top screw too tight because it is thin metal and can dent. Glides so smoothly!! Comes with 30 clips with ability to buy and easily add more. My door is 108” including the trim. I used three curtain panels. I encourage you to raise your curtains higher than the door if you have the space. It looks so much nicer than sitting the rod just above the top of the door. My door is 80” and the curtains are 94.” My brother installed it and always used his own hardware, but the hardware that comes with it seems decent enough. Would definitely recommend and would buy this again.

Black mounting hardware with a pewter rod
Why on earth would you have black mounting hardware with a pewter rod? It looks absolutely ridiculous together. Amazons fix is to return item for a refund then reorder. Just get me the right color hardware! Rod itself appears nice. We haven’t installed it due to the issue above so can’t comment on sturdiness.

Wonderful curtain rod
I absolutely love this curtain rod! It was so easy to install. It works exactly like they said it would. It looks very professional. I love that this traverse rod allows the curtains to slide easily from side to side without any obstruction in the middle. One of my favorite features is that it doesn’t look like a traverse rod. It’s a very attractive curtain rod with finials. Great value for the price! I highly recommend! I will be buying another one for my very large triple slider.

86"-120" rod used over sliding glass doors, one-way operation, pinch pleat drapes
Not too difficult to install but wish instructions were more helpful. I was glad I ordered an extra 10-pack of sliders. I have standard 8-ft ceilings, installed the brackets with top of bracket 1-inch from the ceiling. I used (5) 32" pinch panels of 95" drapes tacked together to make a single panel. Not perfect but if you get enough panels, the fullness covers the fact that it is not a single one. Handier people can get out their sewing machine and do better. Used "pin-on" drapery pins to attach the drapery panels to the sliders. I ordered a 36" drapery baton rod. 48" would have been a better length but I still have to use my hands as the sliders get hung up a bit, probably where the rod pieces (which are 2 larger diameter pieces on outside and one smaller piece in middle) connect. It is not a hard-hang, but does require some light intervention to get the curtains to fully open or close. Despite that hiccup I am glad the rod is adjustable and made it longer than originally planned so that the drapes stack fully to the side of the window, which required about 30-inches for my application (and an extra drapery panel). You can adjust the rod on the fly depending on the thickness of your curtains and how much stacking room you need. I am fine with the little round finial cap that people have complained is plastic looking. In my application the rod will be basically hidden and I don't think it looks bad anyway. Each end of the rod has a fixed slider that holds the curtains in place for center-open operation. In one-way operation (right to left, or left to right open) you don't need this on one end. See photo--the best options I have come up with are to (a) cover the whole thing with a valance or (b) snip the little plastic thing holding the alligator clip off. If you do the snip thing, you are still left with a rather large plastic stopper that holds the finial in place that prevents the curtain from closing quite as far as I would like. I considered perhaps getting out a hacksaw to make that a bit smaller. In the end I am going with the cornice option, probably based on painted 1x8 board stock. My wishes to the manufacturer: improved instructions with hanging tips, and offer a finial with a smaller stopper and no clip that will work with one-way operation. I probably would have gotten a different color, white or silver if it had been available but with the cornice, the finial and the color won't matter anyway.

Favorite Curtain Rod!
This is a must purchase if you're looking for a simply designed, functional, traverse rod! I LOVE these for large windows and sliding glass doors since you get the middle support but you can fully open, close, and slide all panels to either side of the rod without the support getting in the way. It was light weight and easy to install - all of the slider attachments come in packet so you can customize how many you want per panel (I recommend at least 10 per panel). I used curtain pins to attach the drapes to the sliders for a more custom look instead of the clips. The sliders glide across the rod with ease and are super easy to use so you can adjust the look and how much light you want coming through your window. The only down side is that it doesn't come in bigger sizes for those extra large sliders but for most standard size windows/doors this is a dream!

Nice rod for the money
It's a nice curtain rod for the money. The curtain holders roll seamlessly along the track with virtually no resistance. But I do wish it had come with options other than the clip hooks. Easy to install. Seems reasonably sturdy. The finials are just plastic. But I was looking for something with very small finials anyway. My only complaint is that even though all of the pieces were wrapped separately in plastic, one of the rods had a noticeable scratch on it. Fortunately it was just on one side and only on one rod, so I just placed that side to the back. Had I not been able to hide it, I would have had to return them.

The best solution for wide doors and windows
The media could not be loaded. Really happy with these curtain rods. The only solution I could find for our 20 foot sliding doors. I thought there was a missing part and contacted the manufacture after getting their number from Amazon, and they were quick to respond, although it ended up being my error. you can get different finials, and extra slides.

Beware! Scratches and knicks during install!
The install was fairly straight forward and I love the concept of the traverse clips. The biggest complaint I have with this is the quality of the coating. We bought it in black and just from general install of adjusting the size and putting the brackets on, it scratched the rod all over (see attached photo for just one of the many!). It scratched very easily and barely took any effort. By the end of it we had dozens of scratches all over! If it wasn’t such a pain to uninstall and repackage to return, I would have done it. We ended up having to take a black sharpie to it to hide all the scratches as it looked like it was old and used. Very disappointed by that and for that reason will not purchase this brand again.
