Wrong color but I am keeping
So I ordered the burgundy brown in a 10.5 wide. I suffer from plantis fascia and need some shoes that work well with falt feet. When I received them the box states they are supposed to be the color I ordered but the shoes in the box are black. I would return them but I tried them on and they fit great and I needed black ones also. So be concerned that you may order the right shoe but receive another color. Over all the shoes are what I need for my foot condition so I will give them a 4 for meeting all but the color. Oh and the brown are not available now. Go figure.

Comfortable and good looking especially with orthotic inserts
This is my second pair of these, and they are very comfortable. I do Use an athletic style orthotic which provides significantly more art support and a good cushioning. I use these in almost all of my shoes. The only real downside to these is the rubber soul which is quite obvious and not very dressy, so if you’re looking to dress up these may not be the best choice. However they do look good with a sportcoat and slacks and Also look good with jeans etc.

This is the second time I have ordered these shoes. Just as perfect as the first order. The color goes with everything.

Inconsistent shoe sizing
Leather is good quality, soles are thicker compared a normal penny loafer from Bass. The thing that was frustrating for me is the sizing. I’m between a size 8 and 8.5 and it depends on the shoe make. So I ordered a 8.5W because I had my feet measured at a shoe store. The shoe came in as promised by amazon prime. I tried them on, liked them but too large. I returned them for a 8W and they still feel too loose. My heels would lift off the shoe. So I ordered a 8M, now the heel feels snug but the toes area is too tight. I’m planning to return and try an 8.5M. If that doesn’t feel right then I give up and move on to a different brand.

They've improved
Last time I bought a pair of these I wore them once and the front wrinkled up and stayed wrinkled until I finally gave them to Goodwill. This time around they've remained flexible and, while they were a little tight at first, have loosened up nicely after wearing them maybe 10 times. I've long been a fan of Rockports so it's good to know the problems I had last time around have been addressed.

Wonderful shoes, but sizing....
These are great shoes at a fantastic price. However, I was very surprised that the sizing was off. I take a 10 D (m) shoe. I typically wear 9.5 loafers. My last pair, Sperry Top-Sider Men's Liberty Loafer, fit beautiful, and were 9.5. These were too big. They seem great, comfortable, but slightly too big (my heal slips out of the show when walking.) Amazon has a great return policy on these, so I am returning them. I went to a local store and tried on a size 9. They fit, but they are snug around the top of my feet. I tried a 9 wide, and it did not work. If I get these, it will take time to break them in, so I am undecided on what I will do. I will probably look for a different brand. I am giving these 5 stars, because they should work great for some people, and you can by with confidence from Amazon, with their return policy

Amazing Leather!
The soles and heels of my previous pair of Rockport loafers finally wore out completely, but the leather of the uppers was virtually unchanged from when they were new. The leather was incredibly thick but the shoes fit perfectly. The Oak Knoll-Shakespeare Circle have at least as thick leather for the uppers, and the soles and heels are completely different, so I'm expecting these shoes will last forever!

Comfortable shoes
A bit tight too slip on, but a brand new therefore to be expected, but once on very comfortable as to be expected with Rockport

I am pleased with my new Rockport shoes
I am pleased with my new Rockport shoes. But am extremely unhappy that the price increased by over $100 because I changed the size to a smaller size (first pair ordered was too large). I still do not understand how the price could change so dramatically due to size change. I will never order from amazon again once my current gift certificates are used. Dave Bennett
