Time Will Tell, First Impression is So-So.
Suitcases look quite nice and the orange is definitely looking great. Interior smelled very "chemical" like on arrival but a bit of Febreeze and some airing out cleared the smell. The plastic hard sides feel very lightweight which may be good for the airport scale but may not bode well for durability. I'm very skeptical of the handles, especially for the 28" suitcase, as they feel rather flimsy. I typically never get anywhere near the max weight for my luggage, but once this suitcase was filled with my usual travel stuff, it felt as though the handle would rip if not gingerly handled. Wheels rolled fine on smooth surface and swivel easily. A small, very cheap, padlock is included with each suitcase, but they are not TSA-compliant and probably could fall apart on their own during travels, so I can't expect them to keep my belongings secure, beyond being a token deterrent. I've never had to use luggage warranty as usually the problem clearly stems from bags mishandling and airlines normally will repair bags they damaged. However, I'm even more unlikely to use the 5yr warranty that Rockland offers because it is essentially a Non-Warranty, reading: "Fox Luggage Inc. warrants for a period of five years that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of its original purchase. In the unlikely event that such a defect appears during the warranty period, Fox Luggage Inc. will repair or replace (at its discretion) the product with a comparable model. Simply write to us, [...] explaining the defect, purchase receipt, luggage information tag and $40 handling charge to [address], We will inform you where to mail your luggage, prepaid for warranty evaluation." Then lists a series of exclusions and ends with "[...] reserves the right to make the final judgement on all claims". What I read by this is don't bother trying to claim anything, but in the garbage and order a new suitcase (from another company). So, time will tell how this luggage set works out, but I don't set my hopes up too high. First trip using it will be by car and then another one by plane. I'll update if something changes my opinion drastically.

For the price, it'd be hard to find something better.
Bought the orange color of this set for a November trans-Pacific trip. Took this set on a month long trip that included flights from California to Japan, Japan to Thailand, a couple of domestic Thailand flights, then back from Thailand (via Japan) to California. Summary conclusion is that they help up very well to some hefty weight inside them, the wheels worked very smoothly, the pull out handles didn't give us any problem (whether pulling or pushing the luggage) and while upon return the outer appearance does look pretty scuffed up and has a large scratch on one of the pieces, I can't blame the luggage itself for that. For the price (~$100 when I bought it), it'd be hard to find something better. Upon first impressions they seem well made and durable. After initially packing it for the trip, the big piece weighed over 50lbs and when holding it by the non-pullout handle I thought the handle was going to break off from the body of the luggage, but it did in fact hold up. After collecting souvenirs along the way, we got the large piece of luggage up to 28kgs (~61lbs) and the handles still were up to the job despite the body of the luggage doing some flexing while being lifted. We got the smaller piece up to about 18kgs (~40lbs). We even unzipped the expander zipper on both pieces in order to fit everything and despite our fears the material exposed in this expander section might tear under the weight and movement of transport, everything was in tact after our long flight back to California. As mentioned at the top, the luggage did have quite a few scuff marks and large scratch/gouge in one area, but given the light orange color, I guess that should have been expected and I don't think that can be held against the luggage. Do note the surface of the luggage is dimpled, so if you're one of those folks that likes to put stickers all over their luggage to help identify it, the stickers probably won't stay on very well.

Excellent!
I researched for weeks and looked at SO many luggage sets before I pulled the trigger on this one. I didn't want to spend a small fortune. We took the full size (checked) and the carry-on on a flight to Florida. Both rolled very well through the airport and the parking garages and held a lot of stuff! The carry-on fit my teenagers clothes for the week and easily fit in the overhead bin! The checked bag did end up with a few scratches but they all do, eventually. I'm so happy with this purchase! If you're on the fence, just do it.

Excellent Luggage!
Just the right size and great quality! It has held it's beating from 3 vacation trips as we all know how airlines just toss one's luggage without any care. So for impressed! Plus orange makes it easy to find my luggage quickly.

Loved it...until we used it
Great color, interior, handles, and zippers. After 3 flights the small one looks brand new however the larger one has some scratches. I expected this and wasn't bothered until I got home and started unpacking only to notice that one of the wheels is cracked all the way around. Super disappointing, given Rockland is my go to for luggage

DO NOT BUY!!!!
UPDATE 2: It took more than a year, $40 USD, and a lot of calls and emails, but I “got” a replacement case. Why “got”? They refuse to ship to Canada, so I had it sent to my sister in Texas, who is holding it for me until we can travel again. If I could go back and do it all again, I’d have spent more money and got a better luggage set. Really not worth it. UPDATE - sent in the warranty claim along with the $40 money order early April as soon as I returned from trip. FYI - luckily I kept the tags that came on the luggage because I needed that for the warranty claim. It’s June 30th - NOT A WORD BACK!!!! So disappointed - be warned!!!! Shell cracked after ONE trip! Bought early specifically for a vacation in March and “return window” closed before we even took our vacation, so can’t return. I will explore a warranty return/replacement, but what a pain. Can’t give zero stars.

Nice Product - Poor Shipping / Handling
Ordered two sets of these bags as gifts (orange and blue). The products are exactly as pictured (colour, size and shape), and seem to be of good quality and value overall. I have no problem with the product and look forward to giving them to their recipients. HOWEVER... One of the original sets came damaged (cracked outer shell near a wheel), and we ordered a replacement. The replacement came crushed to the point the outer shell was bent beyond usability. In both cases, the shipping box was damaged. The box for the replacement set had been repaired with Amazon tape, indicating the damage occurred prior to being shipped to us. We have assurances from Amazon that this will not happen again, but it's worth noting that these things seem to be abused in the back end shipping / handling process and there is a high likelihood of these cases arriving damaged.

Good for the price
Have yet to use it. However it looks sturdy, matches the picture exactly and did not have a bad chemical smell at all like other reviews. The orange is very nice. The zipper's seem to worry me a bit. The expandable zipper on the large case jams when you try to unzip, and takes a bit of force. The other zippers seem fine. For the price you have to expect the quality not to be as good and can't complain. The inside pockets are really nice, I like that you can separate the top and bottom compartments. I will send an update after my first use!

Good
Finding it hard to get used to the bookcase way they open but seem sturdy enough so far one side has a zippered cover the other side has stretchy elastic to hold stuff in place

So far so good, used them on a trip from Toronto to Vancouver, made it through w/o issue. Simpe design, nothing fancy , but gets the job done. Great value for the price.
