Worked better than expected
Great purchase. We have a lot of trees that drop leaves into the pool. In the past, it has been difficult to keep them out of the skimmers and the bottom of the pool to keep water circulating. So much so that at some point each year we gave up, turned the pump off and let the leaves win. This year with the cover in place we were able to keep ALL of the leaves out of the pool and never shut the pump down. The skimmers remained clear and never had to empty them for the 6-8 weeks the cover was installed (until all the leaves had fallen). Do recommend ordering enough of the water tubes to completely go around the pool to keep the cover from moving, we did and it was not a problem. The only issue we had was when it rained water did stay on top of the cover and it stretched so that several inches of water remained on the cover. If it were slightly more porous then this probably wouldn't have been an issue. (this is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). The only real impact of this was instead of being able to use a leaf blower to keep the cover clear we had to use a leaf bag/pole to skim the top of the cover. No big deal considering our past history of shutting the pump down and giving up until all the leaves were in the bottom of the pool and having a big mess to clean up afterwards. Highly recommend this cover with the water tubes. Packed it in a storage tub and it will be ready to use again next year.

Shorter than advertised!
Cover arrived quickly! Got it out and measured it. As wide as advertised but one full foot shorter than advertised or as listed on the label in the box!! I allowed for extra room and the shape of my pool will work with it as is so I'm OK with it. Have not put on the pool yet... If you're cutting it close on length, beware!

Love this cover.. Bought this for our above ground Intex ultrafame pool 18x9x52. Not as a winter cover.. We live in Florida.. The cover that comes with it is trash. You have to remove the ladder and tie down every time... Way to much work.. We have trees so we have to keep the cover on the pool when not in use.. I went from vacuuming the pool 3 times a week to once a month.. I love this cover.. The water runs though the entire cover, so no worries about water pulling on the cover. When you do take it off its so easy and none of the leaves, bugs, and other junk washes back into the pool like with the other cover..... I do it alone no problem. I bought one size up and it covers the entire pool and then some. No need to remover the ladder anymore. We just pull the cover over the ladder as well.. It is ugly, of course but I don't care one bit.. It made my life so much easier..!

Doesn't work
We purchased this pool cover last season to cover our in-ground pool. We cannot recommend it. We were not satisfied that this product does what it claims to do. We were interested in the idea that the mesh version was supposed to sit on top of the surface of the water, would not allow any leaves or organic debris through, and would allow rain water to go through so that you didn't have to pump the surface of your pool cover all winter long. Well, it didn't work, in fact it caused a bigger mess than the traditional pool covers. Initially it sat neatly on the surface of the water. We were very careful to scoop up leaves as soon as they fell on the cover. After a couple of autumn rains, water started to sit on top and wouldn't pass thru. Because the cover is mesh, we couldn't pump the water off of it, so all the organic debris that was supposed to stay on top of the cover and above the water ended up IN the water. The pool is in such as mess. Not looking forward to opening this weekend. We normally don't open the pool till May. Since it's in such a mass, we have to open it early and start treating. We don't want to think about the cost of chemicals right now.

Quality and price is very good!
I bought this pool 20X45 cover for my 20x40 pool with steps at the end so I went up one size in length and it covered my steps well. It's and easy to handle and has a very tight mesh that is nice to keep debris out but allows rainwater to filter through. Be sure to use water bags to keep in place too.

Good product. The "mesh" design allows the water to flow thru and keeps debris on top. The cover stays on top of the water and I use the water tubes to hold it in place. It does have tied down rings, however you can't pull too tight on them. How long it will last is to be determined.

Don't waste your money....
Mesh cover is a complete failure. By the 5th day after being installed it was completely submerged under the water. It DOES NOT float on the surface as described. Had it not been for the water bags around the perimeter I'm sure it would be at the bottom by now. Also the material is very thin and I wouldn't expect it to last long anyway. Complete failure.

Labour saver at reasonable price.
Bought this in spring as it was significantly cheaper then. Installed in October when closing pool. Put about 20 anchors in concrete to hold tarp down using rope running through eye hooks. Looks good. Some water pools on top but photo attached is just after good rain. Very happy so far, long term opinion will depend on durability. It is not particularly thick and grommits/straps are ok but not really strong so handle with care. Protect or anchor areas that may be subject to wind/flapping. Overall, a good deal and will save me a lot of work when opening pool in spring as I get a lot of leaves and snow in pool in fall and winter.

lasted only 1 aussie summer.
This only lasted 1 summer in Australia. The material is definitely not UV rated. as you can see from the pictures. The initial pictures from robelle show a good quality material. but this material is a cheap rice bag material and starts to tear easily after 1 summer.

My pool is an 18×36 amd there is not enough excess to go over the sides. It needs an extra foot on each side to work. Get a size bigger.
