Strong lock two keys a lock set
I brought this 2pc lock set cause I needed to make a homemade locking mechanism for my new Behrens steel trash cans I brought also from Amazon that I sit on the backyard by the woods to keep the animals out of my trash. I lock them on to Lumintrail bike chains I also brought off Amazon. They feel strong and each lock come with two keys so if you lose a key you got 3 keys left being that all keys work for both locks. Oh yeah there a nice amount of loop space in the lock loop for any that was wondering. I got some pics so y'all can see what I'm talking about. I hope my review helps

Nice lock
Really like these keyed alike locks. On problem I have had with the very cold temps we have had here in the North East they will freeze up. I have had to heat them up so I could unlock them at times. Other wise they are a nice lock.

Locked up well!
These worked no problem, we bought them to secure the bulkhead in a moving truck for a 1000 mile move, the size of the padlock was specifically mentioned for the truck being used. Have also used them to secure the door on a UHaul truck, they have a long enough opening to fit nice and easily, they come with spare keys. Will keep them around for future use. NOTE: When I came to the page to Amazon page to review, it was showing a price of $14.23 and being sold direct by RoadPro - double check though if Amazon is selling them, they were $3 cheaper when sold through Amazon themselves

Good locks but not for outdoor usage
I use these to lock an outdoor storage shed door that has a small drip ledge that prevents direct rain on the lock. Would definitely still get wind blown rain exposure. This lock is hefty and works great when arrived but, after a few weeks outside, the lock is sticking very badly and has oxidation? deposits on the lock arms. Have to basically slam it from the base to get it closed. Going to go try oiling it but wouldn't recommend for outside service.

I bought these Roadpro RPLS-40L/2 40mm Laminated Steel Padlocks on Jan. 30 in a relatively mild Minnesota winter. We got them to replace a pair of Masterlock padlocks that had been on our shed door for 10+ years and which were getting stuck on the coldest winter days (but which were otherwise perfectly serviceable). Within a few weeks we noticed one of the locks was sticking slightly. On April 29th - not even a full three months since we bought the locks - my wife accidentally broke the key off in that lock. She wasn't using any real force. It just snapped off. We're working on getting into the shed now, but in the meantime I would encourage everyone to give these locks a pass unless they want to keep something locked up permanently. I'll also note that there's no warranty and I'm willing to bet our shed that they won't compensate us for the time and labor it takes to break into our own property thanks to their busted padlock.

Be careful about outdoor use.
They worked great, but I used them to lock up my storage containers and they rusted easily, so I would be weary about outdoor use. I was almost afraid I couldn't get them opened after 6 months in the PNW. I had another lock from Masterlock that was on my fence outdoors at my last house for 10 years and it didn't have this problem.
