Great toddler piece

Not sturdy, seat not comfortable for kids

I'm so disappointed in this item! I would return it if it wasn't all put together and the box destroyed. I bought it for my 2 year old's room and had intended to place it in front of her window. But this item is really not sturdy enough to use unless placed directly against a wall (and even then it is wobbly). My daughter hurt herself twice climbing on and off if it within the first 5 minutes that I had it in her room. I saw a suggestion from someone in other reviews to take the legs off (to increase the sturdiness), but that's not an option in my daughter's room, as there's a vent underneath the area I wanted to place it. Additionally, the bench is not very comfortable for my toddlers to sit on. The lack of backing behind the bench means that they can't sit on the bench and lean back. They kept trying to lay down sideways on it, but then their feet hung off. They weren't able to comfortable sit sideways/lean on the side as I believe the bench was intended for. It seems like way too much of a pain to return this, so I'm going to try to find somewhere else in my house to put/use this. But I completely regret buying it.

Nice, but damaged

It’s a nice piece, but not sure how long it will last. Two corners were cracked. With two super energetic boys (4 & 7) I’m not sure how long it will stay in good condition especially since it’s already damaged.

Cute but super wobbly

I love the functionality of it, but it does seem a bit smaller than what I had hoped for my 3 1/2 year old. I honestly wish it didn't have legs because it's super wobbly. Probably will end up taking them off and putting felt pads on the bottom of it. Really cute for book storage, but a little disappointed in the quality. You definitely get what you pay for.

Smaller than expected

Not as sturdy and is smaller than expected. Material seems cheap. If I didn’t assemble already I would return it but it does hold a lot of books

Assembly was a pain!

It took way longer than necessary to assemble this bench. Proper tools weren't included and the choice of screw covers (or whatever they are) made it a pain to keep the pieces together while assembling. The wood also started splitting as the screws were going in :0 Don't think this will last very long. But happy we finally got it assembled and my daughter loves it.
