Beautiful but difficult to walk in

These are beautiful shoes but the strap around the back is too flimsy and doesn`t offer enough support to the ankle area making them precarious to walk in. I reluctantly will have to return them. Benjamin Walk should send them back to the drawing board to remedy that flaw. Fix that and they`ll have a winner.

Comfort

So I have bad feet to begin with: wide, high arches and instep. To add to this, I have high blood pressure, and severe arthritis. After my first knee replacement I developed allergies to my blood pressure meds, which got worse after my second knee replacement. As a result, I have extreme swelling / water retention in my feet. I bought about 15 different pairs of shoes for my daughter's wedding. Wore them around the house. But sexy, strappy sandals... Ugh, Right? Almost all went straight back as they would not accommodate the high instep with the swelling. I could not get my feet even halfway in. I finally had 'settled' on a Nina from VonMaur, but it was extremely uncomfortable as it was a regular width, and it made me twins with the bride... She said it was ok. But ..really? So I took a chance last Sunday and ordered these. They came two days before the wedding, and miraculously fit. I ordered an 8.5 wide, they might run large, as all the other 8.5 wides I bought ended up going back but these were wonderful. I actually made it all the way through the wedding with no pain (severe arthritis in both big toes and ankles). And I was able to transition to my Kate Spade glitter Keds for the reception. I never review things, but felt I had to contribute, because I had never heard of this brand and they fit so well. The sheer mesh between the straps was killer awesome: restrained my feet from overflowing the sole and diggng in. Great last minute buy!

Dressy Comfort

Bought to wear for my grandson’s wedding. Took them out f the box, wore them at home, fit was perfect and the heel the right height. The mesh is just the right covering to keep my foot from spreading out. Very comfortable and will be able to dance all night.

Pretty Shoe but not for Me

Needed a black pair of dress shoes for a wedding. I ordered these and a pair of Touch Ups Jane. I already had a pair of the silver Jane shoes and found them to be very comfortable with a low heel that is suitable for my age. Even though the Clara is a very pretty shoe and the 8W did fit, I didn't feel steady walking in them and the straps are too thin, I felt like they would not be able to stay on my feet. They also made a clip clop noise when you walked in them, At 68 I don't need to be falling from a shoe. So I will be returning these and keeping my black pair of Touch Ups Jane shoe which is also a pretty shoe.

It's a nice shoe...with a manageable heel.

Not too high...not too low. Needed a dressy shoe that I could walk comfortably in. It's the Perfect shoe for a night of dancing.

Pretty shoes but narrow toe box.

These shoes are very pretty, but the toe box was too small for me. I felt my toes were smushed together. Had to return them.

Pretty, but flimsy

Very pretty shoes and they look great on, but there is very little ankle support with the way the straps lay. I don’t feel comfortable walking across the room let alone across stage for the event they were planned for. I will be returning these.

Very comfortable after 4 hours

Wore these to a wedding this past weekend and my feet did not hurt! At first I thought they were a little too big but I was glad because when my feet started to swell, they didn't hurt! Im a size 11.5W on one foot and 12W on another so the 12W was great. Very happy with my purchase. Only concern is the sparkle on them and how long it will hold up/last
