It's a win for us
Home educator here so my "classroom" is a bit smaller so I would suggest removing about half the pops cards -otherwide you will be at this game FOR-E-VER. The pieces are durable and the concept is easy to grasp, leaves my kids asking to play it again and again. I call this game a WIN

Kids love it!
I am a Title 1 reading specialist and work with grades 3-5. I bought this as something fun to do with my reading groups that would still be educational. My students beg me to play this game! They will work so hard to get through their lessons with the hope of having enough time left to play. They don't realize they're learning too ???? Best thing I've bought for my classroom in a long time!

This is a great hands-on game/activity for those learning sight words or blends. I bought all of the ones in the series and am very pleased. Love that the popcorn cards are sturdy, the game is quick to learn, and it's fun. Bought for my future classroom, but would be great for at home practice too.

Fun to play - a great tool.
My students love this game and we also have the word family version. It’s really cute and the “pop” cards add a little bit of drama to a game they may have been boring eventually otherwise. It also, teaches kids not to be angry when things don’t quite go their way! This Is great for students that need practice with listening to and breaking down word sounds, especially digraphs and blends. You can also tailor it to your students and stack it full of the blends that they need extra help with or play as is and this could even be a good way to informally assess their phonemic awareness at the beginning of the year without the stress of an actual assessment.

I purchased this game to help my daughter (age 6) with consonant blends and building her vocabulary. The game was fun and engaging, and she has a fairly short attention span. Her sister (age 8) played the game with us, and had fun as well. The can be modified to different levels. The pieces and storage box are well made, and easy for little hands to use. I recommend this game for classroom use and home use. If you're looking for a way to reinforce literacy in a fun and engaging way, this is a sure bet.

Kids love it! It’s simple and easy to use- but fun.
So simple and so fun. We use it for homeschool game schooling. I think a variety of ages can play this. It also teaches sportsmanship (getting a Pop! card). It really helps enforce Language arts. My 6 year old son LOVES this. I was honestly surprised how much he does- a hit here!

A must for a struggling reader
A must have for my struggling dyslexic kindergartener. This game is fast and fun and we use it in conjunction with the popcorn word family game. I just love that my kid is basically tricked into learning and his competitive spirit keeps him going all afternoon.

Great
Highly recommend. My son struggles with reading and this has been such a fun game to play together. It gets him thinking, sounding out the words and he doesn’t get frustrated.

Great Manipulative for Developing Number Sense
This was used with my kindergarten and grade 1 students. They were highly engaged and had benefited from the use of this learning tool. Highly recommended.
