Worth it.

If you are truly a boxer or in a combat sport you will know right when you see this it’s definitely worth the buy. Just so you don’t have any sliding put a towel on your head and then wrap it up, it holds in place very well after that. I love it

Good product but be careful...here's why

I have been using this neck strengthener for 2 days now, it is good quality, the velcro strap is strong and I am able to tighten it to fit around my head with no issues. Here is the warning: It is heavy, I do not see a way to remove weight and if you are not used to this kind of weight, have neck issues, in physical therapy, etc. you need to be very careful using this. I do not know if I will keep this, I am concerned that I could injure my neck, shoulders or back more.

Good way to ultra strengthen your neck

This probably is an unconventional product but works great you want to “load” your neck and strengthen it. I would just suggest no to over do it.

Very effective, even though it looks like a russian hat!

I recommend this product. I'm not a workout freak. I just wanted something to strengthen my neck because I was having neck pains from too much computer work. So I got this. I have never used similar products, but this one seems very good. It's 8 pounds so I was glad it was heavier than all the others I researched. It's well-made and stays on your head. I can feel it working very fast when I lean back a little bit, or even roll my head around very slowly like a stretch. It provides a very good workout in a passive way. You don't have to put all this effort into lifting something. You just lean back or at an angle, whichever way you wish to strengthen, and you will feel your muscles really work. It felt great to me because I'm used to sitting long hours at a desk and only utilizing the muscles on the back of my neck. This gives me an excellent and relatively effortless way to get an intense workout on the muscles I never use, the ones on the front side of my neck. This has helped my neck pains tremendously, and even alleviated stress as a result, since everyone knows that so much tension is carried in our neck and shoulder area. I do recommend this. The picture doesn't make it look like anything special, but this is a quality, heavy-duty product so don't hesitate to buy.

I hate it! So why 4 stars???

I'm a 59 yr old male. I've been lifting weights 3-4 times a week for 47 years. I'm always interested in trying new ideas, especially for the neck area, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's a ridiculous design. Strap this thing on your head, and it will rip the flesh off your forehead! So why 4 stars?? I'm also a Commercial Photographer. We use a lot of sand bags on location to hold down light stands etc.. The unique design of this wrap is well suited, and in many cases better designed for that purpose. So... I'll be buying more, but I like my forehead, so I'll use them in my craft, as a Photographer!

efficient, safe, and comfortable

I wasn't sure about this product when I made the purchase, but due to the good reviews and relatively low price, I bought it. I'd have to say, that I think that it is the best way to work out your neck period. Very easy to put on, and because of how it is secured, you can do a very wide variety of neck exercises without any problem. No need for additional weights, and no heavy pressure on your vertebrae. I bought the 8lb version, since I read that the 5lb one might become too light too quickly, and I am very satisfied with it. Doing it every day, hope to have a properly thick and strong neck in a few more months!

Slides a bit on your head, also could use some padding on the inside of the unit. If they could figure out a way to use leaner materials that would be a plus as well.
