Good choice, with minor flaws
First worn these after being issued them by the Army in 2009. Overall construction was good, I appreciated the ability to extend the arms to fit larger faces. Retention strap was good and snapped on and off easily. I would not recommend wearing these with the retention strap underneath an ACH type helmet, I found the tension of the retention strap and the helmet pad for the back of your head to be uncomfortable. The nose piece also goes on and off, with greater difficulty, I found the fit going to be VERY tight and hard to snap on. The nose pieces are also very rigid, and leave a nice mark on your nose after wearing these in humid climates or where you sweat a lot. The prescription inserts were terrible back in 2009, with the inserts trying to conform to the curve of the lense, it felt like looking through a fish bowl. Fortunately, Revision has fixed this and the prescription inserts are much better now. They snap on and off without much difficulty, however I personally prefer the ESS/Oakley style where you pull a small locking arm back to lock the inserts in place. One of the big pluses now is the versatility of the prescription inserts. With one prescription inserts you can use it across a range of models such as the Sawfly, Stingerhawks, Bullet Ant, Desert Locust, etc. This at least gives you options. Peripheral vision is slightly reduced but not to a great extent to warrant looking elsewhere. Any paid of glasses will affect peripheral vision slightly. The case has enough room for two lenses in addition to the ones installed in the frame as well as for the anti fog cloth and spray. The case comes with belt loops instead of MOLLE and is very soft and would not do much to protect the contents from crushing unlike other hard cases (ESS Crossbow for example). This would be my biggest concern and negative point for the set, nothing to do with the glasses themselves. The big con I have with the glasses is the extreme discomfort when worn with communication headsets. Specifically CVC hemlets worn by tracked vehicle crew. The arms on these glasses are thick and not very pliable and the earmuffs on CVC helmets made these extremely uncomfortable to wear. I had to push up the arms of these glasses significantly to clear the earmuffs and wear these without discomfort. To be fair, I am not sure if this problem would be solved with other glasses, the Revision Stingerhawks seem to have reduced the thickness and changed the shape of the arms in those. But definitely worth noting if you plan to wear these in conjunction with a Peltor headset, CVCs or similar comms. After about 8 years of wear, my lenses have the protective film peeling off from the tinted lenses, however when looking through them I don't notice any distortion of visibility. Would I recommend these? For the protection they offer and the price of roughly $100 they are hard to beat. They will definitely take a beating and last a long time. Personally, I prefer the ESS crossbows but the Army seems to be making prescription inserts only for revision, so I am kind of stuck with this brand. But overall, Revision is a good brand and very durable.

A+ for airsoft
I didn't want to get Oakley's since everyone has them. These are impact resistant and excessed what was required in airsoft. Wore them for 2 days straight without any fogging issues and no pain on my nose or head. Lens is CRYSTAL clear and you could easily forget you are using them.

Comfortable
I was issued ESS ICE glasses for eye protection for Afghanistan, which are great but feel a little flimsy on the sides. The ESS do cover more of your face than the Revision Sawfly, but the sawfly was a little more comfortable. Once we were in country Revision gave some of us a free kit with one frame and 2 lenses[clear and smoke]--so my review could be biased, but I ended up wearing the revision kit much more than the ESS (for me they were both free, and I don't think you can go wrong with either, ESS ICE is rated higher in reviews on Amazon). I've definitely seen eyes saved from the eye protection we are issued after explosions (it's actually pretty amazing). The Sawfly was a little less expensive, so when I lost my pair at the range, in trying to decide between the two I went with the Sawfly. I haven't had the problems with scratches, but they pretty much go from my face to a padded container.

Best pair of sunglasses Ive ever owned.
This is easily the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. I prefer these over my $400 Oakley pair because the Sawfly does not only provide excelent eye protection but also does not cut out your peripherall vision and they are light and scratch resistant. I wear the Sawfly while I go sailing and windsurfing as well as hiking and driving. With the provided Strap they are not going to go anywhere, If you are water skiing then I would suggest putting a little bit of tape around the arms where the strap connects, and as long as you have it tight they should not fall off in the lake or river.

Affordable, But Not Great Eye Pro
These Eye Pro have pros and cons. Pros: In expensive, high quality, distortion free optics, "bombproof" (or at least shotgun proof) lenses, complete package (soft zip case, retention strap, anti-fog cloth, microfiber storage bag, gray and clear lenses), well ventilated. Cons: made for BIG heads! I wear a 7 1/4 hat, so don't have a small head, but these are BIG on my face. There is a lot of space between the lens and my cheeks and temples - I can slip my THUMB in those spaces. The advantage of this fit is that they get great ventilation and don't fog easily. The disadvantage is that they don't protect your eyes completely. There are avenues of penetration to your eyes. Tighter / closer fitting eye's, like the WileyX Romer (for example) are tight on the cheeks and and temples so won't allow blowing (or blasting) debris to access your eyes. And you virtually HAVE to use the retainer strap to keep them on your head as the temples don't grab the sides of your head at all! They are VERY wide. Lastly, and a real annoyance, is that when you fold them up, the rubberized ear pieces (the ones that don't grab the side of your head) come in contact with the very center of the inside surface of the lenses. This means virtually every time you unfold them and put them on, you first have to use the provided microfiber storage bag to clean the inside of the lenses first. I'm not returning them because I need a spare pair of eyes but these won't be my every day care lenses for long. Probably going back to Romers.

Good first impression.
Very happy with first impression! The quality seems very good. Lenses are thick but very clear. I ordered the large for my fat head. It fits OK. A bit loose without the strap. I tightened the strap and it was a perfect fit. Flat at temples. Snug on the nose. Good coverage for side of eyes. I haven't brought it to the range. But I hope I will never need the highest protection working for me. I guess they are just like airbags in the car, no one wants to try them, but everyone wants to have them. Only thing needs improvement: the carrying case could be a little sturdier.
