True to size!

Cup fits, too tight around, and slightly uncomfortable lace.

I wear a 38 G, and ordered a 38 FF. The cut of the bra is wonderful with a low back silhouette, and the cups fit very well. On the other hand it was extremely tight around, so tight that my significant other had to help me. I would suggest getting a size larger around.

Very Nice Vintage Style Bustier

Wife purchased. She says: This is a pretty great bustier. It took a while to get the right size. I am a petite but not skinny 34 D+. I'm an hourglass with hips and a belly and some back fat but a small ribcage. The reviews made me think that I needed to size up. After trying out four different sizes, I ended up keeping my regular bra size. It's not perfect but it's close. I still have a little extra room in the tips of the D cups but that can be filled with a bullet bra pad. This bra is hard to get on because it needs to be snug to provide strapless support. Turning it around once it's fastened is a bit of a challenge. Once it's on, though, it's great! It's surprisingly comfortable. It nips my waist but doesn't create an overly distinct shelf at my hip. It's basically a perfect reproduction of an early 1960s bustier so the cups are somewhat pointy, but if you like that look you'll love it. One thing to note is that the lace is quite stiff so the cups are crinkly at the tips and that will show under knits. Again, bullet bra pads should fix that.

Surprised it fit so well

I was surprised that this actually fit me and gave me the support I needed. I’ve been looking for a bra for my wedding dress and I almost gave up. I tried this out thinking it would be too small since I’m a big woman. It gave me the support I needed and is extremely comfortable! I did size up from reading previous reviews and I’m glad I did. This definitely is what I was looking for !

It looked pretty

I probably just ordered the wrong size, but I ordered the size that I normally wear in a bra. It was tight, hard to fasten and it squashed my breasts instead of lifting and enhancing them.

Girlllll!!! MUST READ BEFORE BUYING!!!

Ok, I did some thorough research because I NEEDED this bra in 4 days for my bridesmaid dress. I couldn’t leave it up to chance so I ordered 2 different sizes. I normally wear a 40DD and based on other reviews I was most concerned about the band! I ordered a 44C and a 46B because I have a tummy and I wanted to make sure it fit! They both fit fine but the 44C was the winner! The 46B was comfortable and the cups fit perfect BUT because the B cups were the perfect size it made my boobs REALLY Pointy!! And the band for the 46B didn’t really SNATCH me in like thé 44. So when I tried the 44C it gave my waist that extra snatch that I wanted and was still very comfortable to the point I could sit comfortable and breathe lol I can even flip it up if needed (because I plan on wearing it on top of shape wear) so I won’t have to actually unbuckle it because I can’t put it in alone, I needed help!! Also the C cup was a little bit more roomy so my breast’s didn’t stick out like cones so the 44C was perfect! Now I definitely feel like I could have ordered a 42C to be REALLY Snatched like where is my waist lol! But overall I’m happy with the 44C because I will be wearing it all day and want to be comfortable. So i think the formula to go up 2 band sizes and down 2 cup sizes is perfect! And if u want to be snatched only go up 1 band size! And if u want pointy boobs go down 3 cup sizes!!

Not worth the money

I bought this to wear under a bridesmaids dress. My normal size if 40H or 40I. Following the recommendation, I ordered a 44F and it was way too big. I exchanged for a 44DD and it came without the straps. It still doesn't fit right. I think the cups are cut weird and for some reason, it feels bigger around. Because it has no straps and the package was taped funny, I am pretty sure I got someone else's return. I cannot believe I paid $60 for this. I'm debating returning, but it's a hassle and the wedding is in 2 weeks. Maybe I will wear once and toss it. Never trying this seller again. There is not even a way to contact about the missing straps.

Excellent quality. Holds perfectly.

Beyond expectation. Strong and worth the price. The only issue was I read previous reviews and I chose the wrong size. Have returned it and bought my right size again. The reviews are misleading with sizes. It all depends on your shape. I bought my right size on bra and it fits well. Worth every penny.

Update after wearing 3 times

UPDATE: After wearing this bra 3 times.....All the stays/bones bent and stick into me. The cups collapsed so there is no shape and it stretched so much that the tightest (2nd) set of hooks are too loose. Wouldn't recommend it now.

Bodice is great, but cup shape isn't ideal

The fit of the bodice is incredible, but like other reviews say, you do have to go up a size or two in your usual band size and go down a size or two in your bust size. As well, the cups shape the bust in a way that makes them very pointy, which imo isn't a good look at all.

small band, big cups

38C was a fairly tight band, more like a 36. At the same time, the cups were too big. I am technically 38D because of breast width, but with projection that is like average C cup. The cups on the 38C bustier were loose and I had to add a breast form that is at least 1 1/2" thick to get the cups to round out and not look bad with folded material. If we excuse the tight band because bridal is expected to be tight, then what I received was still not suitable for 38C and was instead suitable for 38 full-D (not even 38 average-D) or 38DD/ 38E. The 38C is not usable for me without added breast forms.

sizing is tricky, but good once you get it right

Third version of this bustier that I'd ordered. Very tricky to get your actual size right, but once you do, product is great. Fantastic support and quite comfortable.
