Works well, if it fits tight over the jack tube.
Overall, this did what I needed it to do (get my trailer turned around at the top of a long, steep driveway with no turnaround space at the top). I did end up having to shim it to fit tighter around the jack tube, which kept it from getting cocked and stuck at one angle. I'd love to see a version of this that fits inside the jack tube, where it could be longer and more stable, or with a longer outside collar that would provide more stability.

Manueverability is not too good.
Easy to install, sturdy and handled 900 pounds of weight easily. But, it is difficult to maneuver with weight on the wheel. You have to kick the wheel to get it to turn or use a metal bar to turn the wheel. Again, this is with a load on the wheel/tongue.

Good quality - Competitive Price
Purchased this caster for our teardrop trailer. Was not sure what to expect at half the price of the competitors but this caster is very sturdy. Good quality, heavy gauge steel used for the construction. Have used this for 6-months with no issues.

Heavy Duty Caster Wheel for Landscaping Trailer.
Heavy duty caster wheel fit perfectly on my 10' tandum landscaping trailer. The trailer rolls easily so I can just pull up close with the truck and move the trailer by myself over the ball hitch and let it down into place. One note: I have been leaving the caster wheel in the fully raised position while driving but did notice that when I backed down a fairly steep driveway to a level pad the wheel did hit the pad even in the raised position. Didn't do any damage but it is so easy to take off and put on I am going to keep it in the pickup bed unless I am disconnecting the trailer. This will also eliminate the worry that the caster wheel might come off while driving.

Easy and affordable!
Really great price! I picked up this wheel and a flat jack foot/pad to go on my Karavan trailer. I dont know why those trailers wouldnt come with one of these installed but they dont. This is a great fix. The wheel is fairly large in size and it is nice that I can remove it when going down the road and then put it back on when I un-hitch. This wheel should last a really long time. I have wheels on other trailers that are built out of the same material and they have all lasted for 5+ years. I am sure this will hold up that long as well.
