Steel toe tennis shoes

These were easy to break in plus room inside to replace insole for thicker kind for diabetic feet

Great investment even though they ran a little bigger than I wanted...

I work for a CNC Machinist Company, these would have been too expensive for machining use because of the amount of oil and mineral spirits that would get on them. They would have lasted possibly only 3 months of good use so I had to buy cheap steel toe shoes from Walmart for $30. However I have now moved to the Engineering Office which is a much cleaner environment but I still had to travel back and forth through the shop to various offices in the company and also to inspect machines and talk to machinists and managers. So I needed something that was steel toe compliant and oil slip resistant, but I also needed something that was comfortable that I could sit, stand and walk around in for my daily 10 hour shift. So I decided to invest in my first pair of expensive steel toe sneakers just to see how well they would hold up. First of all I would definitely have to agree with other customer reviews that these do come very slightly bigger than advertised. I normally wear shoes ranging from sizes 9 to 10. The last pair of sneakers that I purchased were size 10 so I decided to go smaller based on other buyers reviews and ordered a 9 1/2 but unfortunately they still felt more like a 10 - 10 1/2 to me. However they weren't really loose so I just decided to keep them anyway. So depending on your feet size and width I would go a 1/2 to 1 size smaller than your normal sneaker/gym shoe size. The material is much harder and not as soft and flexible as your typical Reebok sneakers but they did not give any sign of discomfort. For me this may be a plus as the material should help them be more durable and last longer based on my work environment. Not recommended for working out or for doing sports as they also run heavier than regular sneakers due to the steel toe. Overall I am still happy with the new steel toe sneakers. They are a much better improvement compared to the cheap steel toe boots, shoes and sneakers that I have ripped though over the last 3 years. They are light, comfortable and they look cool too. My machinist co-workers get jealous seeing me in them knowing that they cannot wear them themselves unless they want to fork out $80 every 3-6 months. I think I might buy me some Steel Toe Skater Shoes next just for a change up depending on what I decide to wear to the Office LOL!!!

Good fit.

The shoe felt good and snug. A bit heavy for my injured ankles, I opted for a boot that would help in that area. Otherwise a good shoe for what it’s intended. Looked stylish as well.

Comfortable enough shoe that is lighter than most work boots!

Really like the casual shoe style that this shoe tries to pull off! Definitely more different than most work boots, which is nice. My lightest work shoe to date, which is a huge plus because I always hated how clunky and heavy some work boots/shoes are. Definitely a comfortable shoe but will need to break in as every other shoe, and it is comfortable enough without custom insoles; however, if you are walking around a lot or already have custom insoles, you can put them in if you want. Totally up to your discretion about the insole portion. Only down side is if you lace up the shoes different than what they came in, it could cause a pinch point on your ankle which is uncomfortable.

Not for Florida State. Pretty hot shoes!

If you live in Florida, or any hot and humid climate don't buy these shoes. Even not in summer these shoes will burn your feet pretty bad. Unless your are planning to use them in a close to 0 F environment keep away from them. Nice shoes, strong, well made, comfortable, is a shame how hot they are, not a single hole in that leather, and a lot of padding, it will burn your feet even in a ~70 F environment, you have been warned.

Good safety sneak for wearhouse work for walking and standing all day.

I just purchased and wore these safety sneakers on Wednesday Feb 7. They where delivered two days earlier than expected. First day I wore them for whole shift and they're very comfortable. Little wide because of the steel toe. The make of the safety sneaker is better than I expected. The shoes are light and very stylish. I wouldn't recommend wearing them in high intense work setting like construction. Wearhouse work with a lot of walking are what I believe they're intended for. Since it's been only a few days since I started wearing them I can't speak about the durability of them yet. In a month or so I will revisit my review and update.

Trop large

La chaussure est belle et confortable mais définitivement trop large. Je les ai porté 2 semaines et là serrer les lacets n'est plus assez, elles me sortent des pieds . Je suis vraiment decue

Dont do it.

These are steel toes with the light veneer of a reebok. They do look cool enough I suppose. Not comfortable, i have wide feet and ordered wide variant but these still aren't wide enough I guess. The edge of the steel cap is cutting into my toes. They're also a lot heavier than I expected, should have looked in the weight. The most annoying is that they've got a few weeks and they're already showing signs of falling apart. Pretty disappointed with these.
