Much darker color than pictured
The color on Amazon is not accurate but the cutting board works great. Easy to clean, very sturdy and it’s thin but solid so doesn’t take up much space

Convenient Cutting Board
Nice size, lightweight cutting board for frequent kitchen prep work. Down star’d by one star - due to ordered white and received black. Sent back - the replacement item ordered white and once again and received black. Sending back one and did keep one. Amazon chat / customer service very helpful.

Made in the USA! - and it goes into the dishwasher.
The title says most of it. I've loved the heft and feel of a heavy wood board for many years, five decades. I still do. But, I've gotten to the point where the effort to clean and maintain them is not as fun. Enter the Dexas boards! Made in USA and dishwasher safe were the requirements - they performed great! I ended up ordering six more; two smaller, two larger, and two more of the same size. I still love the wood for vegetables and breads, but cheeses, charcuterie, and raw meats and poultry, these Dexas boards are my new go-to.

Solid board, pretty colors
I've had a white one for the longest time and couldn't remember where I got it, found the word "Dexas" on it. I wanted a couple more for cutting raw meat and vegetables on separately, and finally found these. It's a solid 3/8 inch thick, decent width of surface, I like the handle but usually all it does is collect minced onion on whatever surface the board sits on. Cleaning isn't too tough, but if it gets to be years old and has lots of scores in it, things with oil in them or things that melt (like chocolate bars) will just take a bit of scrubbing with a coarse brush under water. Ordered a red one for raw meat and a green one for vegetables to keep things more sanitary in the kitchen. I'd recommend this brand to anyone.

Had this for a little bit now and it works extremely well. I'll be honest, when I received it I thought, "What's the difference between this and a cheap store cutting board?" Using is believing! Knives sort of glide across the surface as you cut. The board takes much longer than other board to develop those white cut marks that most other boards show almost immediately. I also feel that when they do finally show up, my knives don't get bits of plastic in them (when using serrated). The plastic just pushes to make that slice in it rather than remove the plastic for it to get into my food. Very hard to explain but an easy feature of this board to love! It cleans well in my dishwasher without residue, color, or leaving a taste on the board to contaminate other food (like nylon-made boards tend to do). One of those things that you never fully appreciate having until you see the difference between cheap and well-made! Made in the USA!

Unacceptably short lifetime, deep cut marks too soon
The Good: these are a nice size (I bought two) and I was happy to be able to get the red color to match other accessories in my kitchen The handle is a good idea, too. The Bad: knife marks showed quickly - too quickly. They're so bad now that, even with washing them in the dishwasher often, I'm worried that bacteria will grow in these deep cuts. Because of all these deep cuts, it's difficult to rinse raw material completely off. Example: I often slice chicken in to strips to make fajitas, add to alfredo sauce, etc. These days, there are always fibers of raw chicken that cling in the deep cuts and I really have to work at getting these cutting boards clean. Raw chicken is especially worrisome but any raw material left will quickly grow bacteria. IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY TO WASH THESE IN THE DISHWASHER TO TRY TO BENEFIT FROM THE HIGH WATER TEMPERATURES THAT WILL, HOPEFULLY, KILL THE BACTERIA IN THE DEEP CUT MARKS. This is the second time I've bought these and the problem is worse with these than the first two. In trying to remember how old these newest ones are, I was thinking I'd had them for well over a year. I checked the record on Amazon to see when I last ordered them and realized they're only 9 months old! I don't cook every night so these probably get used 2 - 3 times/week. That's an unacceptably short lifetime for a cutting board and I won't be buying these again.
