Nice, Sturdy, Attractive Harness, a few issues to consider
This is a nice, attractive cat harness, but there are a few things to realize. I found the sizing accurate -- the large size harness fits my solid-as-a-block 10 lb. cat very nicely, and there is room for expansion if he puts on weight. The decorative tropical fish design is sewn on. If your cat does not like the harness, in short order you may find that has been scratched or chewed off, leaving you with a simple black harness. My cat does not fight the harness and I expect the fish will be with him for quite a while. Unlike some less expensive harnesses, critical stress points are sewn for extra strength rather than merely being glued or welded. The D-ring to which a leash attaches is not steel, but rather is black nylon similar to the latches. Every harness or collar I previously bought had a steel D-ring, which undoubtedly would be sturdier. For my cat, which rarely will be leashed, I do not consider this to be an issue, but it would be advisable to keep an eye on the D-ring for wear or damage. This issue is the main reason I am rating this 4 stars rather than 5. The fittings to adjust the collar and chest bands are shown in the photo as being steel, what I received had black nylon fittings. This change probably saved a couple cents on the cost of making the harness. I do not find this change to be as significant as having the nylon D-ring. These fittings do seem to hold their position well, while allowing easy adjustment if needed. At the same time I bought this harness I bought a less expensive one for another cat, and the less expensive one has collar and chest fittings that slip requiring adjustment every day. I consider this harness to be in all respects superior to that less expensive harness. The price for this harness is a bit high, but the overall quality construction and attractive tropical fish design justify it. I would buy this harness again and recommend it.

Good Product But Sizing Guides Not Up To Par
I took measurements of all 3 of my cats, and ended up ordering a cat harness in all 3 available sizes from RC Pet Products just because I couldn't be sure which sizes would fit. I'm glad I ordered all three sizes. I have a small cat at about 9-10 pounds and two large cats, one at 16-17 pounds at one around 19-20 pounds. The small harness is unfortunately made for a kitten's proportions, not for a full grown small cat. I ended up having to use the large harness on my smallest cat, adjusted to the tightest setting. It was still loose but worked out fine for our traveling needs. She was able to lay down while wearing it and not choke herself. The large harness fit the smaller of the two large cats when in a standing position, but did not fit when laying down as the neck piece would tighten too much on his neck and choke him. I was certain the largest cat (who has a big fat belly) would need the Chunky size. However, the Large size harness actually fit his proportions most properly. HOWEVER, by design, the Chunky by far had the best, most comfortable fit because the neck portion it is made more like an adjustable step in dog harness rather than collar, as shown in the photo. The issue I have with the Chunky is that the neck opening is slightly too big / too loose, even on the largest cat, but it could be modified with sewing. For reference, the smallest harness did not fit my smallest cat, but the large harness did, due to the proportion of the segment that goes down between the shoulders from the neck to chest strap. So, now I have one harness that's too small to use and am in need of another Chunky harness for my second largest cat. If not for the sizing trouble, I'd give this five starts. They are well made. I also ordered the 6ft leads for the cats and they work well in tandem.

Great for Cats. Detailed Sizing Info Here.
The small works for my little cat, but was a bit tight on my sister's tabby, so we order this in medium. It's a bit lose on the tabby, but if we pull in the straps about halfway it fits her. The main difference between the small and medium harnesses is the length of the strap that lays along the cat's spine. The small harness has a gap of only 1 1/2 inches between the front and back loops (the connective strap totals 2 1/2 inches). The medium harness has a 3 and 1/4 inch gap between the front and back loops (the connective strap totals 4 and 1/4 inches), so if you have a cat with larger shoulders or a longer body, go with the medium harness. The small is meant for very tiny cats or large kittens. The front loop on the small can be adjusted between about 6" to 9" the back loop can be about 8" to 13". The medium front loop is about 8" to 14" and the back loop is between about 11" to 19". The clips are great since it makes these harnesses much easier to get on and off that step-in harnesses. It can take a while to coax our cats into their harnesses, but once we do they are comfortable with them after a few minutes. They can play and move freely in these. The straps are soft and lay flat against their chests, back, and around their stomachs. These are great for keeping your pet safe during travel (don't forget to buy a matching leash), though I'd still recommend a pet carrier, because if your cat does not want to walk with you somewhere, dragging it is a terrible idea. These are also good for giving indoor cats from safe outdoor time. I use this with the RC leash to take our tabby to the apartment courtyard near the parking lot. She doesn't go for walks like a dog, but she enjoys sniffing around the bushes, chasing moths, and rolling around in the grass.

Strong and solid
It's a solid one that my cat can't break out of. It's a solid one that isn't flimsy and easy to break apart. The straps are thick and don't wear out quickly. The buckets are strong and don't easily break apart. I won't buy any other harness like this style. What I do want to see is the patterns in the collars be available in the harnesses. Wearing collars is not good for when they're on a leash as they don't have the necks like dogs do.

A good hardy harness that my cat couldn't force herself out ...
A good hardy harness that my cat couldn't force herself out of it. When taking her out and about I would prefer to use a harness and not a collar. It's of a very good quality, well stitched together, and the latches don't easily disengage. I love the colours and patterns each one has. I just wished that all the patterns available for the collars would be available for the harnesses.

Fits well good quality
Originally bought the smaller one but the large is perfect, I have a smaller sized female cat so I’m not sure how well it would fit anything over 15 pounds. She’s about 10. She walks well in it. It fits her nicely no complaints. Pattern is super cute.
