Fit a tall guy nicely and kept marine critters at bay

The fit was great for a tall guy. It was snug, but that's what I wanted. A XL t-shirt is normally loose on me and a L t-shirt is a bit snug. I ordered an XL and it was well fitting in the water while snorkeling but never felt too tight. I feel like it kept a few baby jelly fish at bay.

Great for swimming, careful of size

This is my second one. The first one was way too tight. Great for swimming, doesn't chafe and protects skin from sun (still wear sunscreen!!!). The only negative is this is very form fitting so I don't wear it unless I'm swimming (boob huggers)

Good for the price!

Comfortable materials! Works and looks fine for the price! However, have a question about their quality control. I ordered charcoal and light grey, both with size M. The sleeves of the charcoal one are slightly longer than the grey ones.

Fits small but good rash guard shirt

Sizes can differ. We bought medium in black, fit perfect. Bought medium in grey too small. Finally ordered xl and fits great. Husband about 160 lbs 5 ft 4 inch so order larger than you think you are ;) it feels light weight and he said very comfortable not restricting his movement like previous ones have. Haven't had chance to use on vacation but will update if there's any notable surprises.

Runs VERY small

I wear a large. I had to order a 2x and its still kinda snug. Great material, just order at least two sizes up.

Ideal Swim Shirt

This swim shirt is everything I hoped it would be. My two primary needs were 1) sun protection; and 2) a fit that prevented any appreciable drag in the water. It met both those requirements perfectly. I'll likely buy a second one to have as a back up just in case I'll ever need it. The price was right so it makes sense for me to do so.

excellent water and sun shirt

I'm 5 10" & 170 lbs. my shoulder width is normal. very average man body. I'm not fit, but not very out of shape either. looking at me wearing a sweater, you might think I'm fit, but when I'm topless you'd see, I could loose a bit of fat and gain a bit of muscle. lol the large fits perfectly for me. it's form fitting, but not uncomfortably tight anywhere. if I only cared about performance in water, i'd probably want the medium sized shirt. but I've had a really tight water shirt before, and it's just too uncomfortable. the large is tight enough that it will work very well in the water, and is comfortable, so I can wear out of the water too. it's right in that sweet spot where I can use it in any situation. the material is soft. it feels nice against my skin. the neck is not too tight either. no feeling of being slightly choked. and the turtle neck doesn't go too high up my neck. SUMMARY: form fitting, but not tight. soft material. very comfortable. super happy with the shirt. EDIT: used it for a week on a tropical vacation. the shirt was excellent. perfect for swimming. tight enough, that it didn't drag in the water, and loose enough that it was comfortable, and easy enough to take on and off. it also dried quickly. I highly recommend this water shirt.

Small Fit, Cheap material

This shirt is a great temporary solution but the quality may not last very long. Worked well for the summer but the material is very cheap feeling, not a typical "swimwear" feel more like a thin athletic shirt. Protects well against the sun but fits very small. Best to add a size to your expected fit. Not really great value for the cost.

Good fit, not too tight but thinner material means slightly see thru

Bought this rashguard as it appeared to be slightly looser fit than the previous O'Neill rashguard I had. That one was much too tight, didn't dry quickly and was very difficult to remove when wet. The Kanu Surf rashguard did provide a nice fit and the medium size fit my 182cm, 72kg frame nicely and didn't feel tight. This rashguard is lightweight and the material felt much thinner than my O'Neill, and the overall quality wasn't as nice as the O'Neill. However, this rashguard was also 30% less than the O'Neill one. Because the material is thinner, the one in white is also semi see thru. That may not be an issue for most, knowing this I would have gotten a darker colour instead. The rashguard did a good job protecting me from getting burned on the beach, and worked well in the water as well. It dried pretty quickly and was not challenging to remove when wet, unlike the O'Neill rashguard.

Does the job

I bought the large in white - I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 185 lbs. I'm 35 and pretty fit but have a slight belly. It fits fine, could be better but it's good enough. I'm Indian in case any reader is curious of my body type - we tend to accumulate fat on our hips and belly first and then our limbs. Hope the quality holds up as I am yet to test it for my Maldives vacation. I think it should because polyester and spandex are durable materials - unless the stitching misses the mark.
