I had bought a hat like this almost 10 years ago at this point
I had bought a hat like this almost 10 years ago at this point... the original manufacturer appears to have discontinued the style with the zipper pocket. I wore my hat so much that when I had retired it, just about everybody I know commented on the missing cap. The first replacement I tried was the velcro-adjustable cap. It was way too big in just about every way, it stood up on the top, and it kind of "puffed out" because I had to adjust it so much tighter just to fit. It just wouldn't do, so I searched for another replacement cap, that's when I bought this one. Things I like about this hat: -I like that it's fitted and not adjustable, those velcro adjustable ones just look goofy in my opinion. -I also like that zipper pocket on the side. I have used it to carry cash when I don't want to have my whole wallet with me (festivals, conventions, etc.) the pocket is large enough to fit an ID or a credit card, but nothing bulky. Things I dislike: -The red tag on the bill. Not a big deal, easy enough to remove. -I also don't like that it's pre-distressed (those little tears around the edges to make a new hat look like an older, worn-in one) I preferred the genuine battle-scars on my first hat. -And lastly, what's not made clear in the seller photos, is there is a big tag with washing instructions and such on the inside of the hat, which is sewn on with bright red thread. On the back right side of this hat from the outside you see a red rectangle with an X through it. Again though... it was easy enough to remove.

awesome hat
I had originally obtained this hat from a friend, however the hat had a patch on it as it was from an industrial music club (Das Bunker) i wore it all the time and then thought maybe i can find another one, turns out its this hat! i was pleased to find it blank, just a plain black military style hat. I am very picky with hats because i do not like the standard size Brim's that most hats have (like ball caps), this hat has the perfect brim size, it doesnt look like you have a wide plank protruding from your forehead, its shorter than most..I love this hat so much that it is literally the only hat that i own. Overall, the construction is solid, durable cotton with the right amount of heft so it lasts, this brand provides some very high quality stuff, just like their bags, simple, durable and comfortable. I recommend a medium if you have an average size head (i am 6'1", 175 lbs) i originally bought a large and it was too big. What is also cool is that they offer the same hat but without the zipper if you want something more conservative. I highly recommend this hat, and RAPDOM's sachel's, they are very high quality merchandise all around.

Nice Cap
Good quality, and fit. Very soft comfortable cotton, compared to other cadet caps I've had, probably due to the "vintage wash" the manufacturer did. I got the black color and wasn't a fan of the red tag on the bill or the red stitching on the back. But after I ripped the seams with a sharp knife, it's now solid black, and perfect for what I like. Satisfied overall.

SUPER CUTE, with no bling.
Perfect for working in the yard!!! I LOVE MY BLING, BUT sometimes none is better which is what this hat offers. Fits perfectly on my super small head too which is so hard to find and the brim is perfect for me because I HATE large duck bills on hats and this one is so so cute!!! Stays on in the high winds too.

I'm a hat person and I own a dozen military fitted caps. I thought this hat would stand out with the zipper and it does but man... it's too small. I wear small/medium but don't like them too big but this small is too small. If there's any doubt in your mind, order the size up. I will order another colour, medium.

I bit tall for the style I was looking for, and the size was a bit larger than it should have been, but it's a sturdy, good looking hat, just not quite what I was looking for.
