Solution for stuck glue makes this worth the purchase

The one time I didn't read a product review I kick myself after I realized there is an issue getting the double-sided tape off hardwood floors when you're done. Since I found a solution that was quick I wanted to also notate it in my review. Let me start by saying this Runner was a huge hit! I loved it! It's fabric easy to put down it stayed in place the entire party. To get the left over sticky off our hard wood floors, we heated it with hair dryer, then put packaging tape on the left over residue, and it worked! Pulled it all up. I recommend this product, but if I knew the issue, I would have just used my double sided tape (came right up). Also, I didn't have any issue outside (concrete) when trying to pull it off, but I was careful to ensure to pinch a corner of the tape against the fabric to pull it up in one piece. It was hot outside, so that helped.

Overall happy with this product. Basically weed-mat with double-sided tape sections on the bottom side. BEWARE - double-sided tape does leave residue & fabric fibers behind, as posted by other reviewers!! I knew this going in, so I used this on a tile floor and concrete. It worked perfectly for a Cars-themed birthday party and the kids loved it. Lots of foot traffic (40+ people walked on it for 3 hours) and it held up perfectly - no tears. However, pulling it up left glue and felt on the tile floor (Did not leave residue on the concrete). Used Goo-gone (let it sit for a few minutes) and a razor blade and it came up just fine with minimal effort. I would not recommend using the double-sided tape strips on carpet.

Great Decoration for a Cars Party Theme

We used this runner outside going to the pool for a Cars Pool Party theme. It looks great and stood up to lots of foot traffic. For our use it was very durable, did not tear or shred and we can use it again. Unlike those who complained they couldn't get the sticky stuff off their wood floors - the double sided tape wouldn't stick to the cement. We used the inflatable weighted traffic signs to hold it down. The black is nice and dark black and the white lines are nice and bright. While out in the bright sun with lots of pool water being dripped on it the colors did not fade or run. I love the idea someone had to use it as a table runner - wish I would have thought of that :)

Exactly what I was looking for... make sure to read the reviews for advice!

After reading the other reviews, I expected that the outter white lines would be missing on the runner. They were, but no big deal as I ordered it expecting this. Also after reading the other reviews, I am not going to use the included tape. It is said to stain/ruin floors and I am renting a venue for this party. I plan to purchase double sided fabric tape instead. I am also planning on getting the white colored "duck tape" (they make different patterens and colors now) to see if I can run it down the sides of the runner... this way it will stick to the floor and also have the white lines as in the picture. If ou heed the advice of past reviewers, this product will be a great addition to your party!:) It is also a fabris of sorts, not plastic or paper, so it can be reused if needed!

Use: Party Decoration Pro: This stayed down even on a windy day Con: it looks nice but a little less nice as the photo. The included double sided tape was hard to peel and stick to the pavement but it stayed for two days without coming up once i had it down. I received several compliments from the party on all of the items we picked up from Amazon. One of the party goers told me "We pulled up and said Oooooh she's up to it again" I like to go all out ;) In the included photo there are Cones and yellow caution tape - the caution tape was purchased from party city and the cones from Amazon:Dazzling Toys Pack of 12 7 Inch Orange Plastic Traffic Cones

Racetrack runner

We love this! I used this for my sons 3rd birthday party. It was a monster jam theme. We just secured it to the floor with painters tape. Duct tape ripped it and the tape on the other side wasn't sticky enough to keep it in place, at all. Almost like the stickyness wore off. Other than that, it's a great prop and we still use it from time to time when we get the cars/monster trucks out, as a road. WARNING: As stated in other reviews. DO NOT tape this to your floor with the backing that comes on it. Just leave that alone. After my sons party we brought it back home and put it down our hallway. I didn't even press hard and it stuck to my floor like glue! It was so hard to get off. Ridiculous. I don't understand why make a product like that. Hope they see this review and change that. Otherwise it was a big hit!

We held my sons 3rd birthday party outdoors in a park. We rented a covered area and used these race runner tracks to line the entry way. It was very windy that day and these racetruck runners stayed secure perfectly to the concrete. They even held up nicely with all of the little toddlers walking all over them. Once rolled out it looked exactly like the picture. Once the party was over, we pulled these up and discarded them. I will say they secured very nicely, so may want to use a little caution on where you secure them and protect any upscale flooring. However, once pulled up there was no residue left behind on the concrete at the park. I will definatley buy these again if I ever do another race car themed party.

We loved it!

I read all of the previous reviews and didn't order this item until last minute. I am glad I did, it really was perfect for our Cars theme birthday party. The runner is made of a decent cloth material (not paper like so it didn't rip), the kids were all over this thing and it stayed right in place. Now for the clean up, not the fun part but if you follow these instructions, you will just spend a little bit of time and they come right up off the hardwoods (that is where I taped mine down). 1. Use "Goo Be Gone" 2. Apply Goo Be Gone to each strip and let it sit for a minute. 3. Scrape off the top layer of the sticker (paper layer) - we used a credit card, don't use a knife! 4. Apply, scrape, 5. Apply, scrape - wipes right off this time! Measure your area, this is a nice size.

Very Thin

It's cute and works for me in the basement in the utility room but it is too thin if planning to have a youngster use it for playing with trucks or cars etc... it simply doesn't stay in place. Price was low so not too disappointed but picture of it being on an entrance to a home is very misleading.
