Havent got to use yet.
I would like to say that I appreciate and am grateful that everything I have gotten from my orders on time or return on time and replaced or or credited back. Some of the items I purchased have not even been used yet. But I know they will do just fine at least I pray they will. Purchasing things to convert my Van to a home. Once I get assistance of doing such. But can't wait to get started have a whole lot of New things to implement excited but broke now lol really I am. I'm hoping it's all worth it is all I can say and I make it through this lol I'm sure I will. Thanks again for all the orders that I've received been awesome !! Dale Stevens

I have a propane umbilical cord like many other RVs and I wanted to extend it to power heating devices or run a portable BBQ. To do this, I had to get LASCO 17-5341 Female POL by 1/4-Inch Male Pipe Thread Brass Adapter AND Camco 59903 quick connect 1/4" NPT X Full flow male plug AND Parker Brass Pipe Fitting, Hex Coupling, 1/4" NPT Female X 1/4" NPT Female to make a fitting that would fit on a extension hose and plug into the umbilical. Now it works great. I left spaces in the review in case you want to copy/paste and search. I also purchased a refill valve to fill up the small propane bottles in case I wanted to use those. That one is Mr. Heater F276172 Propane One Pound Tank Refill Adapter. I would highly recommend these parts if you have a propane umbilical and just want to make RVing all that much more convenient. Let's face it....if you wanted to rough it, you would have bought a tent.

Make sure to look up what type of female connect you have and make sure this will work for it. I had to buy a different one for my 1999 Jayco Eagle. I'm sure this works for most applications but not mine. I don't want to give it a negative review, but I'm also not going to give it a positive review because this isn't really a review, just a caution. I didn't realize there were different types of quick connects so ordered this, installed it on my grill and then spent far longer than I'm proud to admit looking for a solution as to why my grill wasn't working, the quick connect fits inside my female quick connect but the inside is different and wasn't letting the gas flow through so even though it fit perfectly, it wasn't the right one, so double check yourself before buying it, chances are this is the right one as it seems to be the more popular of the qc types but better safe than sorry.

Doesn't fit
I ASSumed that this would work with my 2015 Rockwood Freedom, but that was not the case. I had no idea they made different sizes and quite honestly, I don't know what size will work. I guess I'll just buy a few and see what works. ***UPDATE! After comparing my old connector with the new one I noticed that they were pretty much identical. With a lot of elbow grease the fitting ended up working. Upgraded to 4 stars.

Is what it looks like, does what it says. No flow limiter.
Just bought this to retro-fit onto my basic older Coleman 2-burner regulated (high-pressure) propane stove. Removed regulator from propane bottle connector, attached a 1/8"-to-1/4" female-to-female adapter, then screwed this in. Works as intended because the quick connect on my travel trailer is downstream of the propane regulator and is low pressure. I've read reviews of simllar products that have a flow-limiting device built into the adapter. This one does not. It's just a straight pipe. I also plan to buy Camco item 57628, a 6' hose with a disposable bottle regulator on one end and a female quick-connect on the other. With that, my hacked Coleman stove can still use standard bottles, and the regulator end of the extension hose can fit on a propane distribution post.

I Paid The Price
It never seems to leak but I feel it was overpriced. It does what it's supposed to. Use the Yellow (Gas) Teflon Tape to seal the threads. It "seems" like they raise the price on this propane stuff if you leave it setting in your Shopping Cart page for very long. But I suppose it's precision machining.

Great adapter
I purchased this quick-connect fitting to modify a portable grill for use with an RV's external LP port. This fitting fits current quick-connects on trailers (mine is a 2012). However, although this fitting seems the same, it is different than older RV's quick connect ports (have a trailer from 1996 that fits together, but this fitting does not trigger the female end's valve. This is just a note incase you have a much older RV, but overall this fitting makes it easy to adapt a 1/4" NPT pipe or fitting for use with quick connect ports on an RV.

Perfect connection for RV
Bought this to modify my Weber Q to work with the propane system on my RV. The regular on the Weber Q was clogged for a 2nd time so instead of replacing it again decided it was time for this mod. Works great and nice size flame on the Weber Q. Did require a few extra brass connectors from local hardware store to make this part work on the bbq.
