Great Swim Shirt BUT Go 2 Sizes Up

Bought two of these for our upcoming trip to Hawaii to wear while snorkeling and boating. The shirt is great, stretchy and of good quality. I normally go between a Large and XL in normal shirts. I am 6'4'' 220lbs. I first ordered an XL and it was a little too snug. Returned and ordered a XXL. First time I have ever purchased a XXL shirt in my life. It fit much better than the XL but is still tight like these shirts are supposed to be. Great shirt BUT save yourself the hassle and order 1 to 2 sizes up from what you would normally wear.

Great if you have a young man’s beach bod

This is a quality rash guard as would be expected from Quicksilver. I always used to wear these shirts boogie boarding in the Gulf. I guess that was a decade ago. Age has caught up to me and I obviously can’t wear these any more. If you have any flab at all this shirt is going to call it out. I mean even a little. I’m fit but have got a little love handle thing going on. I got this shirt for a Caribbean vacation and unfortunately the wife got a laugh when I tried it on. Time to work a bit harder on those abs.

Buy a size or two bigger

Like the “snugness” of the shirt, or rather the right amount of snugness. I usually waver between an XL and XXL. I purchased the XXL and it is still too snug. I have had no quality issues with the shirt so will be trying a XXXL to see if that is any better.

Great fit and feel for swimming.

I returned another brand (recommended by Amazon) for this one. The difference is like day and night. Maybe it's the recycled polyester verses new polyester. The Quiksilver just plain feels right. I have used it in the ocean, gulf, and in swimming pools. The fabric clings to my skin (which is what I want). Be sure you follow the sizing recommendations, or it is liable to be too small. To remove such a fit when it is wet, gradually push it over your head by putting your hands and arms underneath the rash guard from the front. Do not grab it from the back side.

Very good for snorkeling/swimming - but not a fan of the "mini turtleneck" style collar

This swim/surf shirt is a bit snug in terms of fit, and the bottom was also quite long for me, having to bunch it up around my waist just above the top of the swim trunk (tucking it in is not my style). The material is also relatively thick, so was a bit worried about retaining heat in the tropical sun. The one thing that I didn't like (which I did not notice in the pictures when purchased) was the collar style that resembled a mini turtleneck. Even though the rise isn't that high, but when wet, it feels like it's wrapped around your entire neck. However, I took the chance of taking it on my tropical trip this past spring: - The tight fit is actually a blessing... swimming and snorkeling with it felt like a second skin; it stays in place even under strenuous movements under water, doesn't ride-up on me like looser-fitting swim shirts. - Dries fairly quickly in the tropical sun. - The fabric is very flexible, useful when I "ripping" it off my body while it was still soaking wet. - It provides great SPF protection; no issues with sun-burn after snorkeling for hours with my back exposed to the sun.

A perfect fit !!!

WoW love it fits perfect bought a 3xl just to make sure wasn’t to right ! Try it under my wetsuit and no problem ???????????????? will buy more… by the way the logo did survive after a few laundry wash and still holding strong on my shirt!

Exactly as expected

Great product and great delivery; fully met my expectations and using it right now. This is a contoured and snug fitting shirt by design which is what I was looking for. If you prefer a regular t-shirt like fit, this might not be the product for you.

Poor Quality

The shirt was damaged and the sizing is 2 sizes smaller than expected. I was unable to return it - I am unhappy about having to keep a defective product.
