Worth Its Weight in Relief
This was the second time I bought Pure Ayre. The first was on the recommendation of a friend who had seen it promoted on Shark Tank. My home is clean, and rarely needs odor elimination. But I'd had an accident: I was boiling a sugar/water solution for use in a hummingbird feeder. I went to the basement for something, was distracted, then abruptly summoned back upstairs when the smoke alarm sounded. The pot of nectar had boiled dry, and kitchen was billowing with smoke from burnt sugar. The rooms aired out quickly, but the burnt smell had been absorbed into the wooden undersides of all the kitchen cabinets and the upholstered furniture. I sprayed these heavily with Pure Ayre, and after three applications over two days, the odor was entirely eliminated. More recently, a gallon of milk fell off the seat of my new car and cracked, liberating nearly 1/2 gallon of milk into the carpeting of my new SUV. I soaked up as much as I could with towels, then forgot about it...until several days later, I got into the car and was overwhelmed by the indescribable stench of spoiled milk. I could not tolerate being in the car, even with the windows and sunroof wide open. A google search suggested dousing the area with a vinegar solution to remove the odor. I did this, then was greeted daily for a week with the pungent stench of vinegar scented rotten milk. I was beginning to feel like the embodiment of a Seinfield episode (you know-- the one where his car is parked by a valet driver with body odor). Once again, Pure Ayre came to the rescue. I saturated the carpet (now dry) throughout the car, along with the headliner and other cloth surfaces with this miracle product, then left the car outdoors, open in the sun. This time, it took four applications and airing out, but to my knowledge, the stench is now almost completely gone. In this review, I give the product only one star for scent. This is not because the product smells bad, but rather because it is nearly unscented, and leaves no lingering odor of its own. I cannot possibly express how grateful I am for this product. I only hope I never need to use it again. But If I do, I know I can count on it to destroy the odor-causing molecules, not just mask them with its own stink.

Best odor eliminator
This product is environmentally friendly with no harsh chemicals and works better than any other product I've ever used. The initial fragrance is pleasant and dissipates quickly.

Doesn't work anymore & SPRAYERS arrive DEFECTIVE!!!
It seems to work as it says, by ELIMINATING (neutralizing) odors AND I'm talking litter box odors, keep one in each bathroom. Will purchase again definitely. Saw it on Shark Tank :) 2016 UPDATE: I've purchased many times now & there is a REAL problem with the SPRAY NOZZLES. So I started buying the gallon refill size but ended up having to get more spray bottles because the spray nozzles don't last long and now 50% of the time they arrive defective. Very discouraging not to mention costly. I buy the 4 pack because I NEED the 4 bottles but end up down to 1 bottle regardless so I am not buying anymore. Instead I refill the aluminum spray bottles I have of Fresh Wave odor neutralizer, (which is great just different), with distilled water & essential oils. It doesn't "neutralize" like PureAyre (used to) but smells great & I think PureAyre has changed- it doesn't seem to work anymore. At first it was a few sprays & odor was gone, now I am soaking the floor (mostly because the sprayers jam & don't spray a "mist", only "stream"). I just don't find it as effective as the first couple orders. Too bad cuz I didn't think I'd ever be without this product at first. They went UP in PRICE but down in effectiveness.

I had a terrible mothball odor in my car and this helped neutralize the smell.
The inside of my car had an awful mothball smell. I used about 4 bottles of this on it and it really helped with the odor.

Exactly what I expected, no "scent" left behind
I'd been searching for this type of product since WalMart stopped carrying a similar product I had been loyal to for years. Other products can get rid of odors but they leave a scent behind, however PureAyre gets rid of smells without leaving any scent behind. I didn't give it 5 stars because, compared to the product I previously used (and loved!), it seems like you need to use more PureAyre to break down the odors. FYI - I found this product after seeing the owner of the company on the TV Show "Shark Tank". This product is clearly his passion, but I think he should have taken the option for royalties and put his energy into developing other products. There are LOTS of people like me who aren't looking for cover-ups or abrasive cleaning products, but for products that use simple chemistry (rather than elbow grease) to clean & scrub our homes.

This product is amazing...
And I'm giving it five stars because of that. I keep buying it even though the packaging is less than stellar and I'm always having issues with the spray bottles (They sometimes don't work right; leak.). That said, I have yet to find anything that will get rid of the "doggie smell" so quickly on my furniture. Keeps everything fresh!

Highly recommend.
I really like this spray. I bought it because I use the pet spray/cleaner and it's wonderful. It's a very nice natural alternative to sprays like Febreze. I have asthma and I can't tolerate certain smells or chemicals. I also don't want to put chemicals on the floor, couch or bed where my grandkids & dog hang out. The only drawback might be that if you are looking for a strong perfume smell this isn't for you. It has a very pleasant light mint scent. It takes a couple of rounds to really kick in the odor control. Have had no problem so far with staining.

Works good
Had a fire in microwave. This product really helped to freshen the air without adding a perfumed smell.
