Excellent beginner board

Excellent beginner board for both the street and skatepark. Deck is stiff and the generic trucks good and sturdy enough for a kid. I feel the wheels are a bit soft but they are a good compromise for working both the street and a park. If your kid already knows how to skate do them favor and trade out the bearing for some Bones Reds. You can usually buy them on Amazon for 10 bucks or so and they will really make a big difference on this board. The bearings this comes with are the only week thing about this board. While they are well built they are slow. Which can be good for someone just learning how to ride but are not fast enough for a park and makes the board too much work for the street. Also after a couple of weeks hitting the skatepark we ended up popping in some softer bushing to loosing things up. Again, like the bearing, the ones that it comes with are fine and good to learn on but as your kid gets better you may find a set of softer ones will work better for them.

Great board for beginners

Bought this for my younger daughter- had bought a punisher for my older daughter a few months before and my younger fell in love with it. This is a great skateboard for a beginner- my 7 yo loves it. I have ridden it and adjusted it- had to adjust the trucks pretty extensively and my only complaint would be that in order to make this board at all flexible, it seems really loose. Also, not thrilled about the small wheels on it- the other one that i bought for my other daughter had larger wheels, easier to handle. I can swap out the wheels- not a biggie. Just not what I expected having bought the other- expected consistency. The wheels may have been defined as being smaller in the description and I missed it- so I won't mark it down for that. The missing one star is due to the loose feel of the trucks.

Good enough for a beginner to learn on

I'm not the skater in the house but I know and thing or two about a thing or three. I purchased this to replace the super cheap Target brand board my son ran through in under a month. The board itself held up well for being the second board of a learning skater. My son has now put this board on the Trophy Wall because it was the board that he learned the most off of. It was light enough for him to finally get his Ollie down and I've heard that's important so there. Also, the fact that my boy is pretty stout, the board was able to hold up to his every and constant beatings as he learned tricks for the first time. The reason for the lack of a full five stars is because of the bearings, wheels, and trucks which are extremely important to really finding their balance and ability in skating. To me, when a child is first learning the in and outs of this art form, it's imperative to have above decent bearings and trucks as being able to roll through or over the streets small pebbles can save many unwanted accidents. How else is a kid gonna want to continue skating? Being able to avoid the silly abrupt stops due to an insignificant pebble is vitally important. Additionally, being able to handle a good curve while remaining in a decent speed is also important and this can't happen if the hardware is subpar. Now, the included hardware and wheels were good enough for a skate park but came up wanting when in the street. The fact that it did roll better than the target brand is the reason that I gave three stars which in my opinion is acceptable. Five stars would be if this product in it's entirety went above and beyond which is did not accomplish.

Great board for anyone!

I purchased this as my first skateboard. I had experience with a classic Ripstick, but I had no idea how to actually skateboard. When I got the Punisher board, I had to loosen the trucks quite a bit, as they were quite tight and it was difficult to turn. In under a month I learned all the basics. I have a lot of fun with this board, and the design has not worn off, even after being dragged across concrete a few times. It has the texture of a sticker, but I cannot find a peeling point. Whether it's painted or a sticker, it's very durable! I think my board has a bit of a lean in it as well, but it's nothing that causes me any trouble. I definitely recommend this board to anyone, whether you're a beginner or experienced!

DECENT PIECE OF KIT

Buena tabla, componentes pobres...

En general, es una tabla bastante equilibrada...No destaca en nada...Una tabla para empezar y pegarle cuatro buenos golpes sin que se te salten las lagrimas...Antes de usarla, hay que reapretarla completamente y engrasar generosamente los rodamientos ( la mia chirriaba mucho...). Una vez preparada, te das cuenta que el eje se balancea demasiado y no hay forma de arreglarlo...Cuando mi hija se subia, la tabla se torcia muchisimo y era casi imposible subirte a ella...Una vez se acostumbro al equilibrio y reaprete el eje, todo fue bien.

Poor quality

Not even a week. One wheel stopped turning and the it was in an irregular shape and wobbles. My son almost got seriously hurt when he noticed the noise in the wheel and it completely stopped. I saw how one of the wheels were warped. Terrible quality and unsafe.
