The chuck jaws are difficult to adjust
You get what you pay for comes to mind. They work but the instructions were poor and did not fit the chuck. When I ignored the directions and placed the moving clamp devices in according to the numbers, it worked. Pain to remove the clamping pieces and get them back in properly. Not a high precision tool, but they will work if you fiddle with them for a while. I ended up getting another chuck as messing with these just irritated me.

Fine, but clearly not from PSI.
I received these chucks and I've purchesed over 100 of PSI chucks in the past 10 years. These were clearly not from PSI. They were bare metal and not coated, they came with straight tools and not stepped/knurled. They're operational, yes, but not LCM18X parts.

Very average at best
Not what I would call precision. This came I a box with instructions(?) that were shredded. This had clearly been disassembled by someone previously. Jaws were not properly installed in fact one just fell out. The retaining ring was not installed completely and just pulled off. I disassembled the chuck completely and degreased the unit properly installed the jaws and after some select words got it to work. I will need to disassemble it again and refine the fit, nothing unusual for this type of product from China. Would I buy it again? Maybe but for what I received, quality wise, it is a bit overpriced. IMHO

Jaws do not center properly
After removing the jaws and flipping them, they no longer center evenly, causing mandrel to not spin true. Basically a paper weight now

good until it isn't
This chuck worked great until I needed to flip the grips around. After that, no matter what I did or how I put it back together, the grips would never center properly. Which ever grip I put in first was always the first to hit center with the others not aligned. It is basically just a paperweight at this time. I bought a new chuck from another company and am loving it. Spend a little extra and buy another chuck.

Ehhh okay
I mean I’m on the fence about this. It worked okay, but the chuck fasteners broke the second time I used them which I don’t think it’s what you want when fastening a lathe. Now I need to figure out how to unfasten it so I can get my mandrel out. Not so good

Solid 4.5 star
This is more of a 4.5 star, there really isn't much to say, it's got good weight, and it's pretty simple and straightforward, it's a little more than I was expecting for the price. Definitely a good deal.

Works pretty good for small stuff.
Use this on a small Ryobi lathe. I’ve made some screwdriver, ice cream scoop and bottle opener handles. This has worked surprisingly well. I use a spur to start the turning down to a diameter that will fit in chuck, about 3/4”. Then put chuck on and finish the piece. This is a light duty chuck for small work. Handles, pens and such. No big bowl turning with this.

Chrome only makes it look pretty
Very stiff mechanically. Lubrication helped somewhat. After one of the Tommy wrenches bent and snapped.
