4.5 Years Later - Still one of my best purchases
I've been using my WorkTunes since August of 2018, and they have remained a rock-solid choice for hearing protection. These headphones have stood up to extreme weather in the Northeast US; I've used these while snowblowing my driveway in sub-zero windchills in driving snow, and I've used them while mowing my yard in 100+ degree heat index and high humidity in the summer. They've gotten wet, been dropped on hard surfaces, been drenched in sweat and still keep chugging along. The battery life on the WorkTunes are the stuff of legend. I use these very frequently, and am always amazed by how long I can go without having to replace the AA batteries. Even with near-daily use, I can generally get a couple of months of battery life on the WorkTunes. The noise cancellation is also top-tier. These can block out most of the noise from a loud engine of a lawnmower or snowblower, or an air compressor in use, loud power tools, the list goes on. These are my preferred headphones when I run on my treadmill, as they do a great job of blocking out the sound of the pounding of my feet on the treadmill belt. I prefer using these even over my more significantly more expensive Bose headphones for noise cancellation. I estimate that these block out 80-85% of ambient noise. I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality is acceptable for my uses. Listening to music or a podcast/audiobook has never left me wanting more. Sure, they aren't up to Bose-level sound quality, but at this price point, the audio quality is perfectly good; I don't necessarily care about having a perfect audio experience when I'm working. Overall, I am incredibly pleased at the WorkTunes overall performance and durability, and they fill a need for hearing protection as a DIY'er around my home and property.

Great Headphones
These headphones are exactly what I was looking for. I had the Worktunes AM/FM headphones for about 4 years and they were good too but I noticed the sound volume was nit as loud and I also read the review that said you don’t want to be the only guy on the job site with headphones that had an antenna. I switched to these a few weeks ago and they are fantastic. The sound quality is good and the battery lasts all day long. I mow grass for a living so I am on the mower for 6-8 hours a day. I charge them up every evening after I get home and I don’t have to worry about buying batteries. I would recommend these headphones if you are looking to listen to music or radio while you are working. I use them with my iPhone and it connects to my apps. The Bluetooth connection is easy to hook up and connects automatically after the first use. Do yourself a favor and purchase these today. You deserve it!

Worth it.
I bought three pairs of these for the shop I worked in 7 years ago. I also kept one in my truck as I wanted to have them on site when I was using power tools for ear protection. Only one has died. I’d say 364 weeks of 5 days a week and 6-8 hours a day is a pretty good return on investment. The cable connections on the ear pieces are what did it in. It would probably be repairable, but I can’t figure out how they seated the plastic, so of course I’ve been forced to buy a new pair. At any rate, they work great, sound good, and are easy to use with Bluetooth. I hate when things can’t be repaired however. Still, you’ll get your moneys worth if you treat them well.

Incredible Headphones
I bought these in September 2021 to replace ones of the same model I'd gotten elsewhere. The other ones were always used and only lasted ~6 months before needing replaces. This particular pair I've had for 1 year and 7 months and they're still going strong. When I originally purchased them, I typically had my computer's volume at 2% - 6%, the noise cancelation and sound quality was so insane. Now I tend to have them ~20%, but that is better than the 60%+ I would be at with other pairs. I'm really rough with electronics and I've had these longer than any other pair of headphones. My only issue with them right now is that the ear pads are severely degraded. The material covering the foam has long since split open and the foam keeps falling out, but again, they've survived longer than any other headphones I've owned, so I'm not surprised. I've just ordered new ones, but I'm going to try and salvage these, as they still work wonderfully.

Can be uncomfortable but great noise canceling!
So I originally bought these since they were recommended on a website for those on the spectrum and as someone who needed something for when I'd get overstimulated, I decided to give these a try. My favorite way to wear them is with airpods since the bluetooth functionality is not really the best audio quality. Can't hear a thing with them in and they're my go to for blocking out obnoxious traffic or the slamming of kitchen cabinets. They do get uncomfortable after a while since the headband does compress the muffs against your ears but overall, I'd recommend these if you're looking for something on a budget. I keep them in my bag at all times as an essential to my sensory kit :)

Perfect for what I needed
I'm unsure what the fuss is about. These headphones are great. I used them while mowing the lawn. I could hear the music and call just fine. Volume is right around what I want/need. I'm not trying to go deaf. But they paired easily enough with the Bluetooth. functioned according to the manual. They were comfortable to wear for the hour I had them on. The earpiece/cushion was just fine. I wouldn't think you'd need the more expensive ear cushions. Based on my first use, I'd recommend them.

Works great.
These ear muff work perfect. I work 12 hour shifts and the battery last the whole shifts. The Bluetooth connect to my phone instantly. The sound quality is very good. Well worth the money if you are working around loud machines. The only thing is that I wish I would of spent the little extra and got the gel ones.

Perfect mix of headphones and ear defenders
First off, let's address the elephant in the room - the price. These are VERY expensive considering you can get half decent Bluetooth headphones for about £20 and half decent ear defenders for under a tenner. I actually held off buying these for ages because I was using my half decent headphones under my half decent ear defenders but it was such a faff with the headphones falling out all the time and not particularly comfortable after a while that I finally succumbed and coughed up the dosh. And if you're going to use them often (pretty much every day for me) then these are absolutely worth the investment. I mainly use them to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while using the sander or drill and I have no trouble hearing the audio over either of those tools and it's still passable with much louder tools like circular saws. If you're in a quieter environment, like doing the washing up while the kids argue over the last pack of Doritos, then you can happily tune out all the background noise and listen to your tunes in peace. As long as you're not expecting world class sound quality (and why would you from 3M?) then these headphones are brilliant - battery life lasts hours and hours, range is decent, build quality is spot on so far... The only downside I can see is the price but if you think you'll get your moneys worth then definitely buy a pair

Definitely not noise canceling at all
Let’s get this out of the way first, these ear defenders are absolutely not noise canceling they are simply noise mufflers and the same as regular ear defenders but with Bluetooth speakers. That said , as simple ear defenders they are very good indeed and much better at reducing noise than my older 3m work tunes, the ones that gave an FM radio built in. They are very comfortable and stay put on my head and I forget I’m even wearing them. Bluetooth is very good, never skips a beat and connects to my iPhone every time. They are rugged and work well and ideal for a noisy environment. Very happy with my purchase and use them in my woodworking shop all the time.

Edit* I got just short of one year out of them before the left side went dead on me. I contacted 3M and they were more than happy to send me a replacement pair. All I had to do was send them a screen shot of the proof of purchase from Amazon. I stand by this review 1000 percent still love them. 3M customer service is second to none!. I am going to throw my "review" into the ring. These are simply amazing!!!I bought them about 1 month ago.Just got my 90 days at work att he time.Having seen the bulliten notes discouraging headphones and ear phones,I set off to cheat their system. I will start by sayin I am a good worker and keep my head down and do my thing.I k ow they like me.perhaps they know what I am up to perhaps not.I however do not believe I am pullin the wool over eveyones eyes. Lets start by saying this.If you want to protect your hearing while listening to music,these are for you!I work in a machine shop and wanted em to be discreet enough to not attract attention but truely protect my hearingThey do both and sound great doing it!!!! There are air tools ,steel on steel on steel chatter,it cuts it out.Being a machnist you habe to hear things.I find myself pulling the right earphone back to expose my ear when needed.As for voices I can only hear people talking when my ear is exposed on one side ,or the music is off.Even on the lowest setting.I cannot hear people talking,honestly. Comrfort:I have a big head,small ears and wear perscription safety glasses.It all works with these.I do find sometimes I will slightly tilt the arms of my glasses up slightly up on a long day to make things more comfortable.I do find them to be a touch sweaty wearing them 10 hours a day but got used to it....Fair trade Battery life:Second to none!!!!!Follow these instructions..When you get them charge them.Unplug them and plug them back in....Do tbis several times over hours and hours.I do this and get 50 to 55 hours a week on one charge,I work 10 hour days. Connection...Easy to set up .Fast connection!I find it cuts here and there when it does I will shut them off Turn off spotify and bluetooth,start fresh and always solves my problem. Discretion:I read one review of someone saying they were displeased with the discretion of this.There are wires stickin out you can tell.They do say "Worktunes" on the top.As you can see in the pic to combat this I cut some 6 mm festo tube split it down the middle and used it as a sheeth.Carefully super glued it shut.I also put black electric tape over the "Worktunes" Problem solved.Sleek look. Sound:Many reviews tell you these are not loud.or have enough bass.They are right.However,I am here to tell you These are amazing on another level!As I say I am a music lover amd I hear ALL my favourite songs in a new light.Little leads,Backing vocals,tbings I habe never heard before on the high end are there.PLUS that are meant to PROTECT your hearing. All in all but these and follow the charging instructions I said...They are durable as well..almost act as a hard hat for me LOL!!!
