Why are these exercise balls so expensive?

It's a nice quality and sturdy exercise ball. For sure, it'll hold up and it's very nice to have in my home gym. However, I just feel these are overall more expensive than the materials. I guess if you just fill a ball from the Dollar Store with sand, it could be like $1.50 max. But, like you, I'm lazy and like shiny new things. So I bought it for $11. Conflicted if it was wise choice for the economic value.

New favorite

After an injury and long recovery, I gained a lot of weight. In the exercise routine I’m following, this is needed for some of the exercises. I started playing and using it as soon as I received it. I love it! I think I’ll keep it in the living room to use on commercial breaks as well. I don’t remember being this excited about other exercise equipment. I’ve only used my resistance bands once.

Great for Occupational Therapy (Heavy Work)

I got a 2 lb ball after my son fell in love with the one his occupational therapist brings to his appointments. He’s 3 and Autistic; doing “heavy work” helps regulate him and keep him calm. These balls are a great size for toddlers, although I’d be careful with anything over 2 lbs! He could probably play with a 4 or 5 lb ball, but it’d probably become a weapon at that point! He pushes it in a basket, bowls with it, plays catch, etc. I find myself doing little workouts with it all the time, too. This would be perfect for Barre workouts! Highly recommend this brand! Made really well. Just don’t let your dog get ahold of it…. They’re filled with sand. ???? Hope this helps!

Ball is great, also likes to stick to finishes.

I use this product for physical therapy, which is perfect , however, be careful where you leave/store it. I was leaving it on a stained wooden cabinet, and when I picked it up, it was stuck, and had “melted” the stain where the ball touched the wood in a perfect round circle. I then left it on a kitchen counter, and it got pushed against the wall. When I picked it up the next time, it was stuck to the wall, and removed a chunk of paint! Very strange. The ball itself, however is great! Just be mindful where you leave it.

Half-filled with sand

I didn't read reviews and should have. I was looking to replace a weighted ball I had a while back that I used to keep my shoulders loose by tossing the ball from one hand to another and around my body. I ordered the 5# yellow one and I can still use it but because the ball is only half full of sand, the sand shifts around when you move the ball around which affects the ability to grip the ball vs. if the ball is solid with sand and no empty space. If I had known this, I would not have ordered this ball.

perfect for my yoga class at home

In my online yoga class, the teacher requested pilate balls. This ball is perfect. Especially it works for someone who has small hands like me. I love it. Use it all the time in my yoga home practice!

default, wrong size, faulty

this product is useless, and the customer service is even worst. I have to send so many emails, to return and refund still is unsolved. the size is wrong, the quality is bad, deflated, i ordered two of the same size, one is almost twice as big as the other. disappointed.

Misleading

For the price, I thought I was receiving a set of 2 balls. But I only received 1 ball. The photos do show only 1 ball but bullet point description listing components: "Toning Exercise Balls 2lb ". Now I have to order a second ball when other vendors are selling a set of 2 for cheaper.

Funcional

Tiene buen tamaño, y sirve para realizar los ejercicios con peso ligero. Llegaron antes de tiempo, la pelota no tiene el peso completo al parecer tiene una bolsita con el peso, no es como otras que al toque se siente.
