Loving my new mat

This is my second Pro Source mat, the last one lasting about 5 years. When it started flaking off I decided it was time for the dreaded search for a new mat. Although thin like many yoga mats this one is quite dense and provides some good cushioning support. It's lightweight and has a nice carrying strap. There's a slight smell but I expect that will dissipate in time, I've been using my for about 2 weeks now. You only get the smell if you're lying in it and basically shoving your nose into the mat. I use yoga gloves and socks to help me not slide around but once your feet and hands don't sweat much the mat should be grippy enough doing poses. I bought the black and grey on so the grey side has a nice grip on it that keeps me from sliding around unlike previous mats I've had. Cleans easily and I like that it's longer than normal mats. I used to keep adjusting myself as I moved down the mat during exercises. Overall I'm quite pleased with this purchase and I hope it lasts as long or even longer than me previous ProSource mat

Contains lead?! Not non-toxic, as listing claims

The listing doesn't mention anything about lead content. It even says "non-toxic" and "free of heavy metals" on the listing!

Comfy, non-slip and easy to carry!

This is such a cute yoga mat! And, it folds up very nicely. I like that the material is thick enough but doesn't make me slip. I would recommend it.

Not for me

I think everyone has a personal preference for yoga mats. This one's not for me....I prefer a more natural feeling mat.

HORRIBLE. SEE PICS!

Horrible! The worst! Just out of the box, onto a newly cleaned floor. I have never seen a mat that looks like this in my life. Embarrassed to take it anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this?
