Great Field Pants
Over two decades in the Army make me something of an expert when it comes to field gear. These pants are a great compromise between cost and utility. The build quality is good to excellent. The snaps and zippers are high quality. I've tried Kuhl's, Carhart's and neither have held up nearly as well as these Propper's. I have ripped the inseam on one pair, which frankly surprised me, but I'd worn the pants for about a year. Another pair I caught crossing a barb wire fence, so that's on me, but the tear should be repairable if my spouse would ever use that crazy expensive sewing machine I bought her a couple years ago...

Multiple pairs of pants did tear in crotch
The cut and configuration is nice but they tear in the crotch hit and miss good luck

Overall Good
Nice pants that are well made. I have three other pair of different Propper pants and these are the same size but fit more snugly in the butt, crotch and thighs than the other pants (same size 34x32). I like the pockets, though the dedicated knife pocket should be maybe 1/2" wider. A Kershaw blur takes up the the entire width. A Kershaw Knockout is a struggle to get in the pocket. Knives like a Benchmade 940 Osborne fit perfectly.

Just make a good pant without all the bells and whistles
I work for the largest Prison in the State of Oregon. I have been wearing BDU pants for over 25 years. I have mostly worn Propper or Tru-Spec. I like the Propper pants the best. I had really high hope for these. There is a "rubber" strip on the inside of the pants to help keep your shirt down and looking nice. It was gone day 4, I took it out because it is more of a pain to deal with than it helped. The elastic stretchy waistband is ok, but not necessary. The fit is just a little of a "low ride jean". They are a little heaver material which will be nice in the winter. I will wear them until they fade or wear out. They are a good pant, but not great. BDUs do not need to have bells and whistles

Professional looking and durable tactical pants.
First, let me say that these pants fit very true to size and that they have a slimmer fit than most "tactical" pants. The slim fit allows for a slightly dressier appearance and doesn't scream "tacticool". I work protective details and these pants allow me to carry my tools of the trade discreetly and with relative comfort. The elastic tunneled waistband has enough give so that if I have to wear an extra layer or two of heavier clothing underneath and still tuck my shirt in that I can without issue. My only complaint is that between the two pairs of these pants that I currently own, the snap closure at the top of the fly on one of them doesn't like to stay snapped - I find myself doing constant closure checks when I wear them as a result, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Both pairs are holding up tremendously well, in both color retention and general wear/durability after several months of consistent use. I strongly recommend the RevTac pants to anyone looking for a crisp and more professional looking tactical pant that will hold up well.

Really nice pants but...
The pants fit great except the thigh and butt area could use a little more room or those areas could be made with a stretch type material but then again I try not to miss leg day. The cut of the pants is definitely closer fitting than the regular Propper pants. I’m about 5’09 195 lbs and I ordered a 34x30, which was great except for the before mentioned issue. The waist of the pants fits well. It does not have your normal elastic waist but instead it expands slightly on the side like higher quality uniform pants. I like the pockets and their positioning. The large pockets on the legs are nice and the they have smaller compartments inside. These pants use the normal Propper Teflon coated fabric that repels liquid. I did notice the material seemed a little heavier than previous Propper pants I’ve had. I ordered a second pair after getting and wearing the first pair.

Fit isn't quite right
The crotch rides just a bit too low, which wouldn't be a big deal except that the fabric has absolutely no give, so the moment I go to stretch my leg out to do something like get in the car, the fabric at the crotch stops my leg mid stretch. These pants would not be at all appropriate for fighting in, and therefore are useless to their intended audience in my opinion. Spend the extra and get 5.11.

Poor construction. Fabric failed at the crotch within 9 months
The fabric failed at the crotch within 9 months of intermittent light wear. In comparison, my 511 tactical pants are still going strong after four years of similar usage. Avoid.

Propper cargoes, proper value ????????
I have long used the Propper brand shirts, which are exceptionally well made and look great. Having purchased the pants now, I’m sadly not as impressed with the pants. The fit around the waste is generous. However it seems as though Propper have skimped on material in the thighs. They seem to have put “Skinny” cut legs and added them to a 40” waste. Cargo pants are for function and should allow movement. These seem to have been designed with “fashion” in mind over function.
