Too Dark & Difficult Zipper
This jacket is described as "LAPD blue", but it looks black. It IS blue, but a VERY dark blue. Looks very menacing and L.C. I would prefer a somewhat lighter color. The double zipper is also hard to work. These kind of zippers allow you to open the zipper from the bottom going up, but they are difficult to work. I have found they do work better on bigger zippers. Other than the dark color, this is a good jacket for moderately cool conditions 55 degrees Fahrenheit or higher (not lower). 2 hand pockets, one outside vest packet, two inside packets and a packable pocket on the back.

Great jacket to carry in a backpack.
Well mad as are all Propper products I have. Fits perfect and looks great.

Failed zipper design
Why on earth would a company make a decent quality jacket with such a flawed zipper design? Out of the package, I unzipped the jacket and put it on. Immediately I felt like I had bought the perfect jacket for what I was looking for, until...I tried to zip it back up. This company decided it would be a good idea to give it two zippers on the same track that worked in opposite directions. The problem with that is proper alignment to sync the zipper once undone. The alignment varies depending on position. Needless to say the jacket never zipped back up. You have out thought yourself and failed to produce a product that is worth it’s weight. Fix it and sell more jackets or scratch your heads wondering why your reviews continue to suck.

Windbreaker: So hard to find these days
For just keeping warm, a windbreaker is superior to a rain jacket. It breaths when you sweat, and keeps you warm if it rains. The fit is perfect to go over layers for even Winter conditions. It isn't fancy, but it packs well so that you can always have it with you. Just what I was looking for.
