Great Fit for Wide Feet!!!

I have wide feet, I mean seriously wide feet (6 1/2 EE) and finding shoes that fit has always been a struggle. Finding cute boots has never happened for me before this. But, people, these boots are AWESOME! They are cute, they are water proof, they are warm and they are WIDE! They feel great and don't squeeze, pinch or make my feet hurt. I wore them for six hours at work (I brought my old tennis shoes just in case.) I am on my feet the entire time and not once did my feet hurt! I recommend these for you ladies out there who have looked and looked for wide boots! I did get a 7 wide and they are not too long, so maybe they run small that way. I love them!

Not as cute as hoped--sort of like a utility worker's boot might feel but with cute soft fur lining

My headline says it all. The boots are nice looking BUT far more clunky than you might think, unless you really looked at the pix closely (which, apparently, I didn't do). They are sort of like old-school Sporto or LL Bean gum boots, in that they are heavy rubber and aside from the cute fur they look utilitarian. They are heavy on the feet. I compare this to other boots I have that do provide warmth but don't feel like wearing weights--which these kind of do. Last night was my first night wearing them in 20 degrees. They stayed warm for the 30 minutes i was outside BUT they were NOT GOOD on ICE. The treads did nothing, and the material (plastic?) is hard and slid around. The material is extremely stiff and sort of sharp. The boots come to an odd height on my shins, which is not terrible but might take some getting used to because it is not ankle height and not mid-shin but something in between, which is a little unexpected. They were $90, which doesn't break the bank but I'm wondering whether another boot might be a better fit for me at that price--not saying they feel "cheap," per se, but they do sort of have the feel of what I would imagine a utility worker's boot might feel like to wear--albeit with cute soft fur around the outside.

On the snug side, but great for a little snow

Propet makes sturdy and reliable footwear, and this is no exception. There are three things to consider with these boots, depending on the weather in your area. First, there is a circle of synthetic fur around the top, allowing dampness to seep inside if it's raining. But it helps keep your feet warm in cold, dry weather. Second, this is an ankle boot. If you get significant snow, this boot won't be of any use, but if you have little snow, it will be perfect for your needs. Finally - and this seems to be true of Propet's shoes in general (I have plenty of them), it runs small and snug. Definitely order up in size!

Nice boot, but a bit heavy

I wear a 9 4E due to problems with Bunion surgery and flat feet, I need a wide toe box and firm support in a shoe. These boots run a little long, but the width is wonderful! I needed a boot that was a bit higher up the calf for Chicago winters. The price was a little high for how often I would wear them. If I was a daily commuter in the city, I would have exchanged for the next smaller size. Very well made and solid boot for a very active person in the winter.

Glad I ordered the XX (4E) wide

I LOVE these boots. I only need to wear them from our front door to my vehicle during rainy weather, then from my car into work. I will also utilize them on trips to our farm about once a month. Our sidewalk to driveway path is narrow. Our yard acts like a wade pool and I'm tired of ruining shoes, having to remember extra socks, or working in damp socks and wet shoes 10 hrs a day. I wear 7 1/2 x-wide with inserts for spurs, plus a lift. Intuition made me go with my first thought. Which was, it has fur lining. Get XX wide (4E), if it's too big wear thick socks. I'm glad I listened. I have enough room for my inserts and feet comfortably. I'm just thankful I didn't stick with my reg. size as I hate the return process. I would say with the fur, they run a wee bit narrow for the sizes offered.

Not as wide as I thought

The front of the shoe is a bit stiff as mentioned by other reviewers. The fit is also not as wide as I thought it would be. I followed other reviewers and got the widest fit, and as someone with regular wide feet it feels comfy like I could still wear thick thermal socks and be ok. Not as wide as I thought it would be- like my foot swimming inside the boot. For those with wider feet than most wide size, not sure if this will be comfy when you wear thick socks.

Easy on/off & warm!

Searched & searched for a zip up shite-kicker in winter time as bending/lacing when you are constantly in/out and w/ cold hands is a PAIN! Found only 2 options (these or Northface). I don’t normally splurge on the pricey kicks but soooooo glad I did! Easy zip, can even not zip and they stay on but just feel loose. Easy to slip in and out of. Keep your feet warm in winter even snow w/ or w/out socks (tested 20s-30s). Easy to clean. Not super cushy soul but room to add inserts if you prefer. Would not want to wear all day but for chores & tending to critters -PERFECT! Highly recommend, will buy again!

Warm and dry

These are nice boots, well made and are very warm. They seem like they are the XX width as ordered, however because the bottom is a material that stays dry and doesn't stretch, my bunions hurt a little while walking. I would suggest going up a size if you can't order wider.

Very heavy

Easy to get on and great to take the dog out. My only complaint is that the boot is heavy so no long walks.

It is important to me that Xtra Wide means exacly that!

I ordered xtra wide but too narrow at anke area. Boot is heavy. I have Diabetic neuropathy and the weight of the boot was not comfortable for me.
