OVERHANG

The only reason I returned these shows is because the adjustable straps hung way over the side of the shoe and almost a trip hazard. You can see they are good quality and feel comfortable but the overhang of the straps just didn't work for me.

Great for wide feet!

These are great for wide, flat feet. Removable footbed so you can substitute orthotic if you wanted to. The straps once you adjust are a little long but I will put a dot of super glue down to hold them down. Can’t say enough how great the width is.

A good, summer shoe!

I like the denim color and the wedge-platform sole. This shoe is wide enough for me to get a smaller size than I usually wear. I am very pleased by the shoes.

Love these

I have there for the past two years and I don’t buy any other Sandel. There comfortable and adorable. They bottoms don’t ware out at all.

Excellent! These are the sandals I've been looking for!

These sandals are perfect for my needs, and my only regret is that I didn't find them sooner. Good shoes have proven elusive the last few years. I have ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and I currently use a walker, and as my mobility has decreased, the swelling in my feet has increased--making it nearly impossible to find shoes for my sometimes severely misshapen feet and ankles. I had been shuffling along in several pairs of cute Kenneth Cole Reaction flip-flops in different colors; however, they have no arch support whatsoever, they are not adjustable, and the strap between my big toe and other toes precluded wearing compression socks which I sometimes need. These Propét sandals are perfect for me in every way. Because my feet tend to swell, I bought them in extra-wide, but I'm able to tighten and loosen as needed and the velcro is both strong and easy to adjust. (It seems like it will hold up to many, many adjustments.) The arch support is fantastic, and I can't believe how much of a difference it makes--I'd really forgotten what it felt like to have that support. I feel more stable wearing them because of the slight heel; with ALS comes a risk of falling, but having my heel ever so slightly elevated over my toes lessens the risk of tipping over backwards (and pulling my walker over on myself). I had been hunching forward to compensate in the flat flip-flops, and I suspect my back pain will subside now that the hunching won't be necessary. These sandals also work flawlessly with my compression socks, as needed. I bought both the black and red sandals, and they are more attractive than I would have thought possible for shoes that meet my many odd needs. The colors in the pictures accurately reflect what I received. I just cannot say enough good things about these sandals. I hope Propét makes them available in more colors, including a deeper brown or bronze and perhaps a navy. I would buy pairs for every outfit I own and may end up tossing every other shoe I have acquired in my quest to find something that works (and donating the ones that were hardly worn). I'm thoroughly satisfied with these sandals--a little giddy, to be honest!--and I highly recommend them (particularly for people who have issues with swelling).

Soft shoes - GREAT

I had purchased this brand at a local store years ago so I knew I had to order 2 sizes smaller in order for them to fit properly, I wear an 8 and ordered a 6 from past experience. These aren't as soft as the previous ones but I love them.

cute and comfy

I originally ordered the fully black style. Size 8.5 wide is my usual fit. I found them to be true to size. They look exactly as pictured on the product page. Good, strong quality. I like the simple, no-frills style of this black shoe, and the easy and convenient slide. The slightly raised heel gives it that extra bit of femininity I was looking for. The day I got these, I put them on and the comfort and width were almost perfect. I did not feel I had to break them in at all. The two velcro straps are very strong but easy to adjust, if needed. And they aren't stiff at all. Exactly what I needed for my foot, post surgery... comfort and flexibility. Not only do I get excellent support when I have to be on my feet all day, these are also surprisingly supportive and durable if you do some walking in this shoe. Great for standing and short amounts of walking. What I didn't like... the footbed is removable and you can feel the edges of them around the frame that aren't naturally molded into the shoe. Just a little here and there. It's a slight discomfort and pokey, AND it annoys me. I wish they would just put that better footbed into the shoe and not have it be removable. My feet are very sensitive, so maybe this would bother others less. I ended up going with the 8.5 2E (this is extra wide) and the pokey edges disappeared. I was able to tighten them as needed with the velcro strap and they feel fine. Update months later: bought the Tan... fits the same as the solid black (which I've grown to like quite a bit!)... but I agree with another reviewer who says the color doesn't match the product page picture. It's like a soft camel tanish color without any of the beauty that the color camel implies.

Can't keep them on my feet

I like them, they are super comfortable, look good but are hard to keep on my feet. They just fall off unless I strap my feet in thigth. I do think it's my feet...?

Top quality and stylish

I’ve been wearing Propet running shoes for many years and was very happy to find these Propet orthotic slides. They are super comfortable, support my flat feet and look very stylish. The Velcro fasteners allow infinite adjustment. I’m super happy with my purchase.

Fit Like a Glove!!

Omigosh, I really lucked out with these sandals! I've worn orthotics for years and it is almost impossible to find sandals with a removable footbed that aren't over $120. I was thrilled when I popped my orthotics into these...they fit perfectly, almost as if they were custom-made to this shoe! The velcro straps allow adjustments for the extra space required for orthotics. My bunions have become more prominent with age. The leather straps are soooo soft and comfortable. Only one downside: My orthotics squeak when I walk, but that's not a deal-breaker, considering every else is perfect. Thank you, Propet, for saving my feet!

I love Propet sandals. I bought a 7.5 xwide, going down a half size. They fit perfectly, are very light, and comfortable. Enough room with the straps if I have to adjust. I recommend this style.
