Good product. Bungled fulfillment.

I ordered size 10.5 xx wide. Received size 11 instead. On the box, there was the original size 11 label, but an additional size 10.5 label was also attached. Re-ordered. This time I recd the correct size. However, the shoe had obviously been used - it was dirty, the box was damaged and the normal packaging inside the box was missing. Re-ordered again. Third time was the charm. Finally got the correct size and in new condition. Returned the other two for a refund.

Sturdy and saved my foot!

Very sturdy boot that I am using as my day to day replacement for normal sneakers/tennis shoes. They are a tad on the heavier side as replacements, but I was looking for shoes to last me a long time that were as wide as possible, also waterproof, and super sturdy! I worked for a cleaning business, where we will also do some odd jobs on the side. We were preparing a block floor surface to replace the paver sand between the cracks. As I was carrying the sad around the back of the house (30 bags in total), I noticed that there was a 'clink' sound coming from my feet as I was walking in the customer's garage to grab more sand. I turn over one of my feet and noticed a 2-3 inch nail with a wide washer around the head was making that sound, which I must have stepped into in their yard. Had I not been wearing the boots, that nail would have gone straight into my foot. It didn't fully puncture through into the inside of where my foot is, thank goodness. I promptly removed the nail after finding it. The hold that was left behind from the nail pretty quickly and mostly went away. It has not affected the waterproofing of the boot either. Thank you Propet!

Comfort and support

The price is great they help with my metatarsal foot issue. I’m on my fourth pair in three years will continue to purchase them

Great shoe, laces too short.

The shoe laces are too short. Round laces often come untied. These are short so one cant double knot them to avoid that. Please replace with longer laces or they are going back.

Ambiguity Involving the Width

I have a 3E and ordered the XXW. Suddenly, after about 5 hours, the shoes began to hurt my foot at the width, which was strange since they did not feel narrow the day before as I wore them in my house for a few hours at first. It was during my shift delivering the post and so it made for a terribly unpleasant afternoon. To my surprise, I have been allowed to return for a refund. I've been a bartender, skater, bouncer and never had the need to return a footwear after worn. So, while it was a painful experience physically, I was greatly relieved to discover that a refund would be issued.

Great Value in Walking / hiking shoe

Got incredible deal before Christmas in ordering these shoes. I was going to get Merrell which I have had before and they were very comfortable and sturdy and lasted a long time. After walking in these a dozen times since receipt I can attest these are every bit as good as my favorite walking/ hiking shoes. Their water proofness was tested in rain, puddles and even snow and held up very well. They have a thick material and excellent soles for grip to avoid slips. I would recommend to anyone.

Too narrow

Propet shoes, as a rule, are excellent. Great for hard to fit/very wide feet. My son was very disappointed when these didn't fit. He just got a pair of men's black work shoes by Propet, same size, and they fit wonderfully. These are tight just below the laces, before the toes. No way to loosen.

Failed after return date.

Left inside heel went soft. Don't wear them now. Never got a response from Propet either?

A well made boot

I take a size 12 extra wide, and I have a high arch, so getting a winter hiking boot that fits is a problem. Most are simply too narrow or I can’t lace them because of my arches. These fit very nicely, they have been waterproof so far, and they have great grip on snow. I do have to use an alternate lacing because of my arches, and I have replaced the inner sole with a custom one that provides more support. A few months have passed and winter is almost done in my part of the world. The boots stood up reasonably well. My feet never once got wet or cold. Two considerations: Both laces broke and needed to be replaced after less than three months. The laces are also too short to be able to do a proper bow. I replaced them with longer ones. The little tabs that rise above the heal - I don’t know what they are called - have collapsed on one boot, and appear to be collapsing on the other. I have never experienced this with other shoes or boots. They appear to have a soft foam inside that has simply compressed.

Update- was sad to have to return these. The toe box is narrow and shallow and unable to accommodate orthotics/inserts. Been looking for a really good winter shoe that is non-slip. My husband has these in 14 3x - boot style, and he really likes them. I’ve had no luck with boot style, and certainly not in a women shoe. I decided to order the ‘shoe’ model in these. Besides looking like matching dorks when we go out, I’m glad I purchased these. Ps. The length seems accurate, but we both think they fit narrow, so if you have wide feet, order the widest you can. Also, if you have orthotics, the toe box on these is narrow, even in wide width

Gripping!

Mens diabetic friendly footwear is sadly thin on the ground here in the UK, so it's just as well Amazon US has a much wider selection. The Propét Men's Ridge Walker boot is a very stylish looking item and the sole is very grippy, and feels like it should provide sufficient traction this coming winter. Had to take a point off as the toe box is quite narrow for a diabetic approved boot. (I did buy a larger size to account for the US/UK difference) but think an additional half or whole size more might have been better. Also had to buy 140cm laces as the ones supplied were too short for diabetic use. Will be buying another pair in brown soon.

Perfect Fit

I was reluctant to order shoes online because I have such a hard time finding a good fit. I have a wide foot. These fit PERFECTLY!!!! I may even order another pair.
