A little strange

I have bought a number of Propet shoes over the years, so I was excited to try these shoes and possibly find some well-fitting and comfortable hiking shoes. However, they have 2 issues: 1) They felt too big to me so I put them side by side with another pair of Propet shoes of the same size and they are visibly longer. 2) The light blue plastic pieces aren't fully attached to the rest of the shoe so they constantly flair out while walking. Just strange.
