Very stable for one's with transferring disability

Bought these for my Dad, Being only able to "self transfer" due to stroke and arthritis. These shoe's provide him with the strong support and stability on any terrain. Hardwood, tile, carpet, gravel and grass. Easier than most shoe's. Putting on with only one able hand. If he gives them a ????????. They earned it. Recommend for those with disabilities.

Bought for my Husband. Size 17. Fit Great. He really likes the Velcro closings. I like the way they look. Will buy again!

At last, narrow sizes in Velcro strap sneakers!

I should add to this headline- at reasonable prices. (BTW, watch for a sometimes sale) I wear an 11 Narrow and have worn that size with New Balance for more than 25 years. But now, in my late 80's, with both knees shot, I can no longer tie shoe laces, so I looked for a narrow with Velcro straps. Yes, New Balance had one, but priced at almost $140. So, when I found my 11N in Propet on sale for just over 50 bucks, it was worth a chance on a brand I had never seen. My pair arrived on time, with Prime, extremely well boxed, and fit perfectly. The toe box was a little snug but has felt better already after 5 wearings. Stability seems better - maybe it has more sole surface? My only complaint is the design, for which they lost 1 Star. I may be an old guy, but I still take pride in my wardrobe. They need some color. Maybe highlight Propet logo in color, or add trim like the blue on white of most New Balance. I hope the Propet team reads this and tells us that color is in the works....for an otherwise great sneaker.

They are not as comfortable as I expected.

They are not really too comfortable; needs an inner sole to be comfortable. I probably should have ordered a 10.5 EE instead of a 10E. After they stretch a little, they will be OK.

Fast service, and the exact shoe I was needing!

These are great shoes for my foot that got mangled in a car wreck many years ago. They last for a long time. I have gotten 2 to 3 years out of every pair I’ve had. They only get moderate use being as I have the bad foot and leg. Have been wearing the exact same shoe for nearly ten years. Highly recommend Propet!

Uncomfortable

I usually buy new balance but 150 dollars wasn’t in my budget this year. I found theses for 30 dollars ( on sale from 100). Every time I try to wear them my dogs bark. Had to return them. Seem well made, no stitching to rub feet BUT they made the front of the shoe super narrow, crushing my toes.

It had a pointed toe and scrunched my foot.

It looked very comfortable. When I tried it on it scrunched my foot as it had a more pointed tow. I had ordered a wide and was not the right fit for my foot.

Prophet shoes

Have previously bought a pair of 'life walker' diabetic footwear from Amazon and was very pleased with the quality and fit In 3X wide. The main feature being the two adjustable velcro straps that are a boon when feet swell. Unfortunately these shoes (also made by Proppet, same size just a slightly different style) we're the only ones available in black. The size and fit were supposed to be the same they weren't, they were nowhere near as broard fitting as the previous shoes, and to make matters worse the nylon stiching was 'knotted off' internally leaving knots that sliced into your feet. So these had to be delt with plus it cost me another £30 for a shoe stretcher to get the width to fit! These are branded as U.S. made shoes but are actually made in China, and quality control is very hit & miss. At near £100 a pair you should not have to carry out majior alterations to get a pair of shoes to fit properly. Verdict, if you get a decent pair they are good, if you get a pair thrown together they are overpriced Chinese rubbish! Beware
