Boot was completely worn out in a week

Got this for my boyfriend, he has wide feet, this boot fit really well. It said it was leather, but it was made so cheaply, looks like it was spray painted black. It wore off right away, the boots look horrible already.

Great boots

They fit good. Definitely buy your true size. They are super comfortable. The only down fall is my feet sweat super bad in these boots. Other than that I love them. I'm on my feet all day at work and wouldn't want any other boots.

Fit/width as expected but,

A well made, seemingly ruggerd and yet light boot. I buy Proper because they offer extra wide shoes. These have a design flaw. The bad: the "steel toe" toe box is not proportionally wider (I tried several sizes/widths if same model) and constantly rubs toes - no amount of break-in seems to help so after 2 weeks I'm writing them off as a bad investment.

Comfortable may not last

These are comfortable but they do not last very long I usually have to go to a new pair about every 5 to 6 months these only lasted about two maybe three months

Back is lower than the front.

The back part of the boot is lower on the back than the front which was a bit uncomfortable. They fit around the foot but was very uncomfortable around the ankle and was a bit tight. They are nice boots. Don't get me wrong. I did give them to my daughter and they fit her perfectly so I don't have to return them. This is why I give a 4 star. My feet and ankles are just weird. I have a hard time wearing women shoes because of it so I tried these boots. I think later I will try more of a combat style boot. These boots are just not for me.

Great boots.

I have very wide, but small, feet. I originally ordered 5E. I had to send them back as they were way too wide. I re-ordered just Wide or E. These are perfect. They fit fine and I have no issues with the toe area being different than the rest of the boot (I've seen this mentioned by others). So if there's a lesson to be learned - only order the extra, extra wide sizes if you have webbed feet. These are very true to size, so order your normal size.

Down graded from a 5 to a 3 for THIS pair.

I am editing my review for THIS pair of boots. My other much older pair are still looking like new. THIS pair, after wearing them now for only 3 weeks are showing advanced wear/cracking in the leather under the right boot tongue (see picture) I downgraded to a 3 star because of this. The rest of the review below still stands. I have plantar fasciitis so shoes have to be good...in fact great, or I have pain walking. I've bought other pediatric shoes in the past...but THESE work great! The great thing about these Propet boots is that they not only feel good...they are water proof and steel toed. They are my new GO TO boot. My son also now goes with Propet dress shoes at work.

steel or composite

The boots fit well. I didn't realise that it was a steel toe. Its insole can be replaced if needed to give a more comfort feel. Its pretty strong, water resistant and warm. Supports my feet also.

Way too narrow

Bought a width 5E (XXL) for my husband. The heel of the boot fits 5E but they did not use the proper toecap, the toes are narrow compared to the rest of the boot, this causes discomfort and injury with normal usage. Do not buy if you have wide feet.
