Comfort & Style for Wide Feet!

When you need W or WW boots, in the larger sizes, they can be hard to find. With my arthritic toes, I need comfort or why wear shoes at all? I was worried about winter and the coming cold, and just happened to find these boots on sale, and I love the Propet brand, have been wearing them for years, so when I find what I need on sale, I buy more than one pair, as I did with these stylish boots. The fit is spot on, you don't need to go up or down in size. If you are borderline in boots when you wear thin socks, and think you will want to wear them with thicker socks, at the sale price you might be able to afford to add a width. So I have these boots in both W and WW widths. Both fit perfectly, no breaking in interval needed. I also got multiple colors, all are great!

Not what I expected

From reading the other reviews, I really thought these would be great winter snow boots. They are made well but the sole is very thin for a winter boot and the toe area is very wide. Even with a thick sock on, I can wiggle and move my toes around. They are very uncomfortable to walk in. I also don't like that the sole is so thin. Can't imagine my feet would stay very warm if I was out in the cold for a while. Depending on what you want them for and the fit, these could be right for you, just not what I needed.

I really like these boots. Tough to find shoes wide enough and these are perfect.

Fit is off

I really liked the warmth and where the boot hits (mid to upper calf). However, the sizing was way off. I wear between an 8.5w or 9w. I had at least an inch and a half from my big toe to the top of the foot. When I filled out the return firm, they actually gave me an option to exchange but with the 9 being so big, I wasn’t sure what other size to try. I rarely get the option to exchange. I wish that would happen more often.

Is a true wide size, but no cushioning and color bleed.

I have a 10 inch long and 4-inch-wide foot. With no sock I have a 1 1/8-inch space. With a thick liner and thick sock there is a slight pressing at the tip of the toes and the top of the foot, so can only wear one. You must have an insole. Without one it is like walking barefoot. The red bleeds to the sock, but it come off when washed.

Not much insulation on the inside.

I have very wide feet and ankles that get swallen often and usually buy propet shoes that fit me well. I did expect these boots to be warmer but they do not have much insulation on the inside. The same as their regular boots just thicker on the top around the ankles, but that's all. They do fit me and I kept them anyways.

I thought they'd be taller. They have that weird hollow heel/sole that will require an insole if I plan to wear them for more than just shoveling or getting place to place. I'll know more once the Minnesota winter start.

Wonderful!

What a joy to finally find a pair of boots where I don't have to fight to get them on! They are roomy, light weight, warm, and are good looking on top of all of that (looks just like the picture). Money well spent. I am H A P P Y!

These boots are great! So easy to put on - no tugging or wiggling to get my feet in; what a relief. They are very comfortable, light and warm. Great looking on top of all of that. What's not to love?

Bon pour la ville seulement

Ces bottes sont confortables pour les pieds larges. Par contre, elles ne sont pas assez chaudes pour des températures plus basse que -15. Aussi, pour les personnes qui désirent une semelle qui absorbe lorsque vous marchez, veuillez considérer que ce modèle rend le confort d'un soulier à semelles plutôt minces et ce n'est pas comme la protection offertes par de vraies bottes d'hiver. Pour les mollets forts, l'ajustement avec les lacets permet de se servir uniquement de la fermeture éclair pour enfiler les bottes. De plus, même en long parcours en voiture ou en avion, ces bottes ne bloquent pas la circulation du sang, Finalement, elles font un beau pied et ne donnent pas l'air d'avoir des pieds Xtra larges.
