Works; light is annoying
Easy to plug in and works. However, the blue light is very annoying if you are trying to use this in a bedroom, as it can't be turned off.

Use this in our RV and the light us so dim you really can't call it a night light but it works well for an extra plug.

Work great but be aware of a couple of limitations.
I just purchased my third and fourth units intending to use them in two of our bedrooms. Sadly, the outlets in the rooms are setup to have one side switched. You flip the light switch elsewhere in the room and whatever is plugged into that side of the outlet goes on or off. This Tap has only one plug, and given the orientation of the prongs, the outlets will be switched in our rooms. Given that we wanted to use the USB taps for overnight charging, we were faced with the reality that we would need to give up the wall switch that control our bedside lamps. Even if the Tap would have been oriented to make use of the non-switched outlet, we'd be in the same boat. So, we now have two taps that we'll have to find another use for. Also, some of the outlets in our house don't have the screw in the center of the outlet. It those instances, we can't screw these units into the wall plug. Lastly, if you're concerned about the output amperage delivered by the USB ports, check the literature/packaging that the Taps come in. You won't be able to find that information on the actual Tap. We plug both Apple and Android phones into ours and have had no problems but I know that the two systems have slightly different power input requirements for their USB charging. If the limitations above aren't deal breakers, you should be happy with this GE Surge Protector Tap

perfect for guest bedroom.
I bought this for the guest bedroom. Now when we have guests they have a USB and outlets in the room to charge their items. It was easy to install and works great.

Not useful, and not wide enough to plug in 3 cords
This needs to be a little wider to handle plugging in 3 cords. Nevermind the big power bricks, this won't even accommodate 3 of the smallest plugs, so I'm not sure why it's made for 3 cords. The USB plugs are nice if you have old devices that can use them--most devices now require the slimmer USB-C and an adaptor doesn't help since the newer devices won't charge properly with an adaptor (as I just realized when I bought a new phone). I really should return this outlet, since it's not going to be useful. If you only need 1 or 2 of the narrow plugs and don't care about USB-C, it may be helpful. But then, a regular outlet will accommodate 1-2 narrow plugs, so there's no need to bother with this unless you're really in need of plugging in an older device with an older USB cable. Perhaps GE does have an updated device in the pipeline to replace this. If so, I would also suggest covering the LED with a more opaque plastic, since it's a big brighter than it should be if using it while trying to sleep. This does claim to have surge protection, and I do appreciate products that meet UL or other standards, so there's that...

So my house has older outlets and its frustrating bc plugs just fall out of the wall..I bought a different kind of these and it didnt screw into the wall so that was no help either. But THIS thing is amazing. It actually screws into the wall, as if you were putting a plate on the outlet. Install: EASY! Just plug in, and it comes with an extra long screw so that its secure. This has solved a huge headache for me, and I'll be purchasing more of them. I've now had it for 3+ months with zero issues.

Great buy.
Works well. I would have gave five stars, but half the LED light was out at the first plug in. Not a big deal, as no light is needed where it is being used. I love extra plugs and USBs, and most of all having the screw to keep it secured when things are unplugged.

Algo inconforme
Es útil, yo lo compré sobre todo por las entradas USB, sin embargo, la luz sí es molesta como dicen otros comentarios, yo pensé que se encendía solo cuando había algo conectado pero siempre está prendida, en lo particular me da la sensación de que está consumiendo energía todo el tiempo y no me agrada, además es súper grueso, la realidad es que si están pensando comprarlo yo no lo recomiendo, es mil veces mejor ir a alguna eléctrica y comprarse un enchufe con USB de $200, se ve mucho mejor y es más útil

Lastima de Marca GE
Una verdadera perdida de dinero, lo compre porque pensé que me iba a dar confianza por la marca y tenia pensado comprar mas por los contactos , protección y otras cualidades pero resulto ser hasta problemático, porque de la nada al cabo de 10 días, el equipo me provoca un corto circuito en mi instalación eléctrica activando mis protecciones por lo que todavía que sale defectuoso tengo que pagar el envió hasta EUA. Pesimo Producto

Buena opción y con dos USB para carga rápida
Muy buena opción para ampliar la capacidad de conexión de varios aparatos y para carga rápida de celulares y tablets. Incluye una luz led azul para indicar que está protegiendo lo que está conectado, puede ser un poco molesta en la noche pero es un muy buen producto.

Funcional pero ocupa mucho espacio
Cumple su función perfecto. El detalle es que es muy grueso y estorba. Ocupa prácticamente toda la placa y la luz LED que indica que está encendido esb algo escandalosa. En mi caso sería más adecuada una regleta o algún dispositivo más delgado y sin luz piloto

El producto es de muy buena calidad, me encanto sin duda alguna cuando necesite otro lo volveré a comprar ya que cumple con todas las expectativas, su funcionamiento es bien explicado y entrega la potencia que dice la caja. Tarde en escribir esta reseña porque primero debía probarlo por bastante tiempo para no dar una mala reseña.
