I have had these lights in my house for 2 years now. I have three of them in my house, in two different sizes. My only complaint is that the globe is SOOOO fragile we have now accidentally shattered two of them by bumping them with something hard like a plate or small kids' chair that someone lifted up too high. Really I wish I could just purchase the glass globe alone when that happens. I hate buying a whole new fixture and throwing away everything but the glass globe.

Looks great and easy to install.

We installed this over our dining room table. It looks great and very easy to install. We replaced one we had bought at Ikea that shorted out after several years. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because there are one or two small bubbles on the white paint inside the globe. This makes it looks like there are a couple of small pieces of dirt in the globe. But if you hang it strategically, no one will ever notice.

Classic design

This is a classic design and I was glad to find it again. It now hangs in my foyer (previously over a round dining table). I may change the compact fluorescent bulb, though, to good-ol' incandescent for immediate lighting when guests arrive. The quality glass is as good as I recall. Not difficult to put up.

Great Buy

I love this light. It has that classic mid-century modern look. The glass globe was bigger than I expected but I love the size now. Looks and fits great above my Burke tulip table and chairs. I had to cut about a foot off the wire length to get it right. Very easy to install. Worth the money.

classic light

easy to install, nice even light. the 16 inch size is a classic mid-modern style. very fragile. my son accidentally bumped into it with a piece of wood and it broke. I don't consider this a flaw, but be extra careful with the globe.

Globe light

We have installed these globe lights in our entry. They look great and provide the perfect amount of light. We have also installed with a dimmer so we can choose mood or more light for guests to come into the home. We have a third globe light that we put in our bathroom - have a large bath suite and the globe light was the perfect solution for lighting (dimmer on this one also)

Decent light, not quite as high quality as some similar lights i own

So i acquired 2 14" inch globe lights and i bought this to match. The glass isn't as thick as the other ones and isn't frosted just opaque white. Looks decent up.

Has a few scratches on it. But all in all, fine for the price. Pretty easy to install. Looks great in the kitchen over the sink.
