Light is really dim

Really like the design, the install is a bit painful but not to bad. My lights are really dim, definitely does not light up the room bright in my opinion

I like it

First off like others have said, it’s a little painful to install. It doesn’t have a ton of parts like others I have seen (brand starts with an ‘H’). The remote receiver and all the wires are tough to fit in to make it attach to the top plate and make it all flush. I bought 3 for bedrooms. By the third one I was a pro at installing it. I separated the light wires, capped off the one going to remote receiver and connected the main light wire directly to my light wire...so I can turn it on with a wall dimmer switch. So obviously, the light function on the remote no longer works. I also have it running off a wall switch for the fan. Here’s what I like about this fan: I can control the speed from the remote when the wall switch is on. It also remembers the speed so when I flip my wall switch, the fan turns on. I had another brand installed in one room that ‘forgot’ and I had to use the remote to start the fan function every time after I flipped the light switch. I like the blade shape better on other brands, but I still like it. The blades have a fake wood side and a silver side. The remote is fairly ugmo which seems par for the course with ceiling fans. The light isn’t the brightest, but it’s fine. Overall, I’m happy with it and would recommend it for sure.

Clean modern design

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very nice looking, contemporary without being over the top. I would have given it 5 stars except for hidden damage to one of the blades. I wanted the black side of the blades to be prominent but there is a spot the size of a quarter where the black paint is completely missing. Looks like a big white spot. Ruins the effect completely.

Looks Fantastic - great addition to our room

Overall a great fan! I would buy this fan again and recommend it to anyone if its a fit for the style of your room. We wanted a Hugger Ceiling Fan and this fit great. We have two of them in our living room, upgrading from some 90s style fans. Negatives are the installation is a bit tight when installing the motor assembly over the bracket, the wiring has to be just right. Also for the sleeve that goes over the motor careful not to forcefully press this on as if it goes too high up over the pins it locks into its almost impossible to get it off and back down. There might be a better position for the antenna of the remote device in the motor assembly as one of our fans the remote doesn't always work well. I believe due to the signal not reaching well. The light is not bright so if you are looking for a fan that also lights up a room I would look at other options. The reason I give this 5 stars is because I really like how it looks and changed the whole look of our room. That plus it has a strong solid feel to it. It was built well and will definitely last. Being a builder I have installed many fans and this is not a high end fan but its also not a cheap fan. I would say its in the mid to upper range of overall quality.

Very Loud Fan

The Good: The fan looks nice and modern. We had an electrician install the fan and it wasn't an issue for them. The Bad: The fan, as others have said, is really loud. We have it in a medium sized room and it is really loud. We can hear the fan in other rooms, even with the door closed. The motor also makes a buzzing sound. Also: we reached out the company. No word from them. I wouldn't buy this fan again, and we are looking at replacing it.

Beautiful fan but noisy.

Beautiful fan. Easy to install. After running the fan for 10 days the fan emits a loud humming noise. The owners manual indicates it will dissipate with time however at this time no change in the noise level. At this time I would not recommend the fan for a bedroom as it is noisy.

A Painful Installation & Not Enough Blade Pitch

First the good: It looks great installed and it is a very quiet fan. The bad: Because the anchor place is SO shallow and the remote control kit is thick, the electrician had a really, really hard time getting this installed. There is zero room to play with. After install the fan wobbles because the plate could not be tightened all the way due to lack of room for all the wires. The blades are also not pitched enough to push much air unless it is set on high/full blast, in which case it wobbles). Progress is a solid company but skip buying this fan particular fan unless you are certain your ceiling is built with NASA-level precision for a pristine, level surface. The engineering on this fan leaves no room for play. Overall, I am disappointed with the usefulness of this fan and would not recommend.

2nd time is the charm

We've ordered two of these fans, and each time have had to return the first fan due to missing parts or non-performing motor. But the second fan is always perfect. We love that the fan is quiet as it brings us cool air relief during these wild fire seasons. The light is too bright for any use except when you really really need to find something that fell behind the sofa. Too bad there isn't a dimmer capability with the fan. But in all other ways it is wonderful.
