My sister worked as a janitor for a local school district. She recommended I buy this mop bucket because she used it daily in her job for over 10 years without issue. High quality and durable.

Their is such a thing as 'built too good' ... this is the item!!

One of the best, if not THEE best purchase I ever made on Amazon!! I purchased this item together with the UNISAN UNS 603 mop handle and the Rubbermaid mop head (FG23800BL00). I was a janitor for four years so using those cheap, lightweight mops just wasnt getting things done. I used to use metal buckets and press-down equipment so I was hesitant to purchase a 'plastic mop bucket'. Boy was I wrong. This bucket is made of 1/2 thick harden plastic. As you get closer to the mop press it thickens even more to allow for the extra weight and pressing function,.so its extremely well made. As to the wheels, these are not hard wheels. They are soft 'plastic' absorbing wheels. So when you roll the bucket from one surface to another it can clear and overcome a 1/4" to 1/2" lip without a problem. It wont get stuck or crack the edge during floor transition surfaces. The mop press is sturdy. That is where I am still hesitant to put in my full body weight on it. Once this plastic cracks on these type of items its over. So when I use the mop pressed I do not place allot pressure, but enough to do the job. I just take the mop, re-position it and press again so its not such a big deal. This way I was careful and not reckless. Finally the ease of use. When I roll this puppy down my harden floors, if I stop or should for some reason hit something, the water does not splash. That wave function does its job as advertised!. It can hold easily about 4-6+ gallons of water. When you empty the buck, the residual dirt and 'trash' rolls right out (none stick or slick surface allows for this). Also you can't see it on the pictures, but where the back of the bucket is you can tilt it to throw the dirty water out. Their is a lip where you can cup your hand under so you can tilt it right into the sink or disposal area. Look, you can mess around with these cheap squeeze light mops and end up paying more than purchasing this one time item. With that press you never have to touch dirty water again. Oh did I mention the mop head is washable? I store the unit in the garage and bring it inside for big jobs. Those quick spills or small leaks is when I use the grocery type mop. So if your house is solid flooring like mine, this is a time saver, back saver, and overall EXCELLENT item. And NO I don't work for Rubbermaid, I just know a good item when I see and use it. You wont regret purchasing this item!! - Joseph

Great quality for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. Because of the Covid 19 virus, I stopped going to the laundry room here at my apartments as several people here have it (they are quarantined) and I've been using the laundromat services to have out laundry done but that gets very expensive quickly so upon doing some research in hand washing clothes I saw a YouTube video where people have been using this to wash their clothes in (using a laundry plunger to agitate the clothes) and then using the mop wringer to wring out the excess water out of the clothes. Freaking genius! It works great! The only issue I have the slotted molded plastic insert where it's supposed to hold a bucket for the dirty mop water (an added attachment) sticks out on the inside and creates an issue with my hard plastic laundry plunger which doesn't fit that well. Had I known I would have purchased the bucket w/out the molded sides sticking in. Be that as it may, this is still a work in progress and I've already done laundry with it and it does the job. It's sturdy, not to heavy, and the wringer works great; again a work in progress. The ONLY issue I have is that in the photo it shows that this bucket had a foot pedal to release the water from the bottom and this doesn't have that feature. It would have been handy to have.

Quality and Value

Rubbermaid is great famous brand. I’d rather pay extra to get this instead of similar products. The bucket is nice and wide with a low center-of-gravity. I didn't have the water slosh around too much. The wringer is good quality and did a great job removing the liquid from my 16oz mop head. I didn't have any instructions for the unit, but I think it was pretty self-explanatory for the most part. The casters were pressed in by hand-- all 4 are the same with no locking mechanism. High Quality and great Value

I love my mop bucket

This is the best! I highly recommend the dirty water bucket. my only regret is that i didn’t get the style that releases water from the bottom-is a little cumbersome to empty when full!

Stout, well made, but will not accept the Dirty Water Bucket accessory

Very stout construction, fair price, but this model, (apparently a Model 01, but not labeled as such by Rubbermaid or Amazon on the product page,) will not accept the Dirty Water Bucket, which is an additional purchase anyway. No idea why it won't fit, as Model 1 and Model 2 are the same capacity, and appear identical in the promo images. Looks like it my Model 1 will do what I purchased it for. But for the confusion about product labeling and compatibility, I reduced the purchase satisfaction star rating. If you want the Dirty Water Bucket option, you need to search carefully on the Amazon website, and make sure to get a WaveBrake 2 Mop Bucket.

Es muy fácil de usar

Me encantó la tina, no toco para nada las mechas del trapeador y queda muy bien exprimido, sobre todo si lo dejo enjuagado en la canasta en lo que limpio otra cosa. Tenía un trapeador normal bastante grueso que no puedo abarcar bien con las manos y cabe perfectamente en la canasta. Compré la tina de 33 quartos y tal vez sea un poco grande para una casa normal. Para vaciarla completamente le quito la canasta para exprimir y luego la vuelvo a poner, se quita y se pone muy fácil. Me hubiera gustado tenerla desde los 7 u 8 años de edad cuando empecé a ayudar en las labores de limpieza de mi casa.

Perfect for home use

I'm an average woman with an average house and got tired of buying those flimsy mops. Wow, this is a cadillac!! It's a bit big for home use, but I love several things about it. The weight of the mop cleans the floor. When wet, the mop weighs a few pounds, so there is no need to push down on it. Because it's so big, I can do a large area at a time. The wringer truly wrings out the excess moisture when rinsing. I have carpal tunnel so I can't squeeze or fight with those flimsy mops. The mop and bucket do all the work for me. Maybe a bit of overkill, but I Love my sturdy mop and bucket.

Una cubeta muy padre. Esta muy grande y se nota muy resistente, de muy buena calidad. La parte donde se exprime como que se fija muy sencillo, esa fue la unica parte que me tiene en duda. Pero al momento de moverla con liquido, etc, no pasa nada. Recomendada

Stable and versatile. The anti splash baffles are a big advantage.

This product is worth the money. Built heavy to last. Very stable and easy to move around even with a full load of water. The mop Wringer has been improved from the old spring version. The wringer is easily removed when needed.
