Make sure to order right size.

I made sure to order the correct size for my window screens, as I was originally unaware that there are several different sizes of spline used for residential windows. Once I contacted my window manufacturer and confirmed my measurements of the original spline, I ordered this Prime-Line Spline roll and was very happy with the results. It is easy to work with, and the quality of the rubber seems to be very good. After a few months in the direct Florida sun and rain, the new screens and spline still look brand new.

Did a quick math job on screens that need to be replaced

After math and quick price check on line at big box stores. This was more for less. Took a piece out of the old screen measured it. Went on line found a conversion chart and ordered. Bang perfect fit.

Worked fine to replace our screens.

This spline arrived on a plastic reel not the cardboard thing pictured. I put a piece of pipe through it and hug in in the rafters in our garage above the table I was using to re-do all of our screens making it much easier to install.

Works great!

The spline is soft and pliable and goes in the channels well. Once in the channels, it holds the screen in place. As advertised!

Too thin

This was slightly thinner than 1/8 inch spline. No idea how these clowns can advertise .120 as 1/8” (which is .125”). Did not stay in the track like my previous purchase. Cheap inferior product, would not buy again.

Managed to get all my torn screens rescreened.

I used this to rescreen a bunch of torn screens on my house. Worked great! No waste, since I just keep rolling it out until the screen is done, then cut it.

Spline

I replaced screening in my windows so the cats can't get out. The spline was easy to work with and did a great job securing the screening. Only drawback is it's link to cancer. :( But I washed my hands well when done and placed the remaining product away safely. Not sure if all brands are the same.

Used for pet screen

We needed to replace the screen in the screen door due to our dog ripping holes in it, and bought the thicker "pet screen" ; the standard spline sold by Home Depot and other hardware stores was too thick to fit in the groove. This product was thinner, and worked fine so we now have our screen doors back
