Great product
These worked great! Live by the beach and the old ones had become corroded and would not work. Be sure to measure the size that you need, and these fit the screens perfectly. Wouldn't have known there were different sizes. Only thing was pushing to get them to click into place was a little difficult, but turned the screen upside down and pushed and it clicked right in. Have bought more for all my screens.

Work great for replacement
Great replacement for the 27 yr old broken ones. A helpful tip is to grab a couple of coins to help you install them... when squeezing them together to install the head onto the pin, it can be painful to press them together with your fingers, so I used a couple of quarters to put on each end to reduce the pounds per square inch pushing into your fingers, but still be able to generate enough force to clamp them together.

Hard to find
I've used these to replace 25 year old versions on, presently, about 12 screens in my home. Replacing window screens is 90% labor. If your frames are good, then it's just a matter a getting used to the process of cutting new screen and the plungers if needed. Some of the plungers on my old screens still worked, so I didn't replace them. Typically, the plastic lift cap breaks off, which would justify a replacement by these Prime-Line versions. EZ to do, and they work well. I tried to get these at local hardware stores, and was near impossible to get help, and the proper size. The size, and type is crucial. Bought a large roll of screen, the rolling tool, and spline at the local box store (the plungers they stocked didn't fit my screens). YouTube videos are out there to help you with the process of doing the labor yourself. Otherwise, I'm sure folks buy entire brand new screens, or pay for someone else to repair their present screens. This will not be cheap either way. If you have the inclination, and time do it yourself with

Pro tip - use quarters for install
This is a repeat of a great pro tip shared previously. These are very uncomfortable to install with bare fingers so just use two quarters one each side to save your fingers - works beautifully and product works as described.

Product for an older screen
I bought this for an older window screen that originally had plastic pins. The old ones popped out and were lost when I took the screen out of the window. I wasn't able to find this 5/32 size at any local hardware stores (large and small). These fit perfectly.

Fit Perfectly
We replaced the old white nylon screen plungers which were falling apart. These ones were fantastic, fit the old holes in our screen frame ...easy to install. Reordered more sets. Ordered first set just to ensure they fit and they did! A little pricy for 4 plungers but very pleased.

Great replacement for broken plungers
Bought a new house and discovered a half dozen screens had plungers that were so broken the screens were falling off. Previous owner had tried to tape them on. These were a perfect replacement. Only minor complaint is that they have black caps as in the picture not white as in the description, but either works. The black blend with the mesh. Hardest part was getting the old stuck and broken plastic plungers out. Had to use a nail punch. Instructions say to use a 5/32 drill hole for the plunger end, but I found that was too tight and hard to get the springs in. Went with 11/64 and had no issues. When putting the caps on, use a wrench and squeeze each end lightly until you feel the cap pop on the plunger if you want to save your fingers.

A bit smaller
A it smaller than the standard one that were used originally for my windows, but quite my mistake. Hard to measure precisely such a small piece of hardware
