Works on different sizes

Low tech, but cheap and I kept getting the wrong size cranks so I opted for this adaptable crank, finally, glad I did, this is one size fits all by using the little adapters, which are plastic and do not form fit to your existing splines you just have to use the adapter that’s “tight but not too tight” and align the set screws with the adapter hole, works ok and now I can use my Pella Casement windows, yay.

They strip if you turn it too hard

They work fine as long as your window opens and closed smoothly. If you get to a spot where you have to turn it hard to finish closing the window or start opening it, then the plastic inside will strip.

Half worked

One handle had the set screw screwed in so far that it could not be removed. The screw quality was so low that the Phillips pattern stripped before it would budge. The set screw in the other handle was only engaged a few turns, so not problem with that one. Fortunately, I only needed one handle, so it did the job.

Great replacement

When we changed our kitchen faucet, we also needed to replace the window crank. This butterfly crank works great. It comes with several inserts so it was easy to find the one that worked with our window. It took very little time or effort to make the change. Now it is much easier to open and close this awning window. Would buy again if needed for other windows.

Very Easy to Install

I changed these cranks in about 4 minutes. Just a phillips head screwdriver was needed.

Nice crank

Easy to install though we couldn't find a perfect fitting edapter for our crank mechanism. We were able to make it work. Nice finish which matched our hardware.

Good idea but didn’t fit

Good idea but none of the fittings fit tightly enough to not slide off so had to purchase the usual crank handle. Good bad the twisting is much easier and nicer looking but would not work no matter which fitting used
