The right stuff.
Replaced another brand with this tried and true Schneider. Other brand gave up after about 2 years use. I would not waste my time installing anything else.

It's a well pump switch. Tried & True
We have to replace these about every 5 years because the contacts or springs will fail over time. Just resign yourself to that. I ordered 2 because when one fails, it makes life at home difficult. (I stashed the 2nd one in an ammo can within the well house.) Not sure about the ones with the "safety cutoff" or "reprime" switch, but this fits the bill and is what it is. Those other ones seem like more complication for what should be an item that is "invisible" to users. Maybe there's a longer-lasting "digital" version nowadays, but for the price it's just a matter of keeping on top of wear&tear/required-maintenance sorts of things.

Super Switch
Bought as backup for the identical switch installed on my well. Substantial savings on price and will be on hand when the existing switch has to be replaced at 10PM some night in the future.

Watch for duds
Had to return this item. This pressure switch is supposed to be pre-calibrated to operate in a range of (on/off) 40 - 60 lbs. This gem that I got had my well pump run up to 90 psi before cutoff. I couldn't hardly believe it until I attached a 2nd gauge to my home water supply to verify this high pressure. Any and all adjustments (per instructions) did very little to reduce pressure. An as y'all know the hassle of a bad part like this is that your project is unfinished (and you're without water) until you run off somewhere and get a replacement that works as it should. What a Pain... Beware and be ready for an unplanned snag by Mr. Schneider.

Worked as expected.
It appeared to be calibrated fine and I did not adjust. Good value and I am sure it will last for several years minimum.

Exact fit
I stripped one of the grounding screws so be careful tightning these. Also the pressure range was set rom 40 to 55 psi not the stated 40-60 psi. So I adjusted the differential screw to change the pressure range to 40 - 60 psi. The instructions inside the lid are very clear on how to change this differential pressure. Four star rating due to stripped screw and pressure range setting.

Perfect Replacement
Replaced a Boshart pressure switch that was sticking, causing the water supply to cease. Easy replacement with no adjustments required; it was factory calibrated correctly.
