Much more efficient for frosting
This made frosting my Christmas cookies so much more efficient! Only gave four stars because it doesn't completely empty the container of frosting, leaves a little extra behind.

These saved my hands from carpel tunnel!
I am so satisfied with these frosting bulbs!! They are such a breeze to use, easy to clean, and durable. Due to their light weight and squishy, flexible material I am able to pipe royal icing so easily with them. My carpel tunnel no longer gets in the way when it comes to decorating sugar cookies. I will purchase more of these soon! I wish there were 6+ bulbs in a pack.

I like these,my wrist is bad and these were easy to use...I don't know why some of the reviews are bad,perhaps it's because they used frosting and it wasn't thin enough? try warming up the frosting a lil bit then use it. but I just now used it for the icing to start decorating a gingerbread house. also maybe people didn't screw the caps on tight enough that's why they had oozing or the caps popped off because I seriously didn't have any problems at all. I didn't rate about the cleaning part yet because I haven't gotten that far yet but I'm sure it'll be easy,just run some hot water in them when your done ;) sign me happy gramma

Want to like but …
I really do want to like this set. I wanted something less wasteful and super easy to clean, fill, and change tips. However … I wish the bulb was a bit bigger because I find myself almost constant refilling. I wish the mouth of the bulb was a tad bit wider so I could use a normal spatula to fill it. Instead I had to get a mini dollar tree one. And about half way into using it I have an issue with the bulb wanting to pull away from the collar (no pictures of it actually happening because my hands end up covered in icing but here is a post-cleaning pic - it’s where my thumb nail is). I try cleaning the lid and the connecting/touching surfaces and it still just happens. Like the path of least resistance is out of the side than through the tip. And it’s not like I’ve had it sitting there and icing has firmed up. I still use it for small things but it just left me expecting/wanting more …

Have to refill often
Pretty small so you have to refill often. It may do up to 4 cupcakes before you have to add more. The bulb likes to pop off of the pipe tip once you get low.

It’s the little things in life
I’m not a baker/decorator, however, this little gizmo works/worked great for me! It’s easy to fill and frosting came out like a dream. Tip stays put and no frosting squeezes out. I only worked with the tips provided in the kit so far. I found if you keep enough frosting in the bulb it’s much easier to work with. I hope anyone else using this would find it as simple as I do.

So much better than piping bags
I bought these little frosting bulbs because I decided I was done with piping bags, and I am not disappointed. These bulbs solve every issue I had using the bags! They're easy to fill, easy to assemble, and easy to use. I've seen some reviews complaining that they cause bubbles or breaks in the frosting, but I haven't had that problem. I just give the bulb a little shake when it's upside down to make sure that the frosting all goes to the tip. My only complaint is that they're pretty small, so when I'm frosting cupcakes, I have to stop and refill after 4 cupcakes or so, which can be annoying. However, the pros far outweigh the one con for me. Plus these are so much easier to clean than frosting bags! Baking is just a hobby for me, so I can't speak for the usefulness of these bulbs in a professional setting, but for me, they do the trick.

Perfect
Prepworks by Progressive 8-Piece Frosting Bulb Decorating Kit is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted some frosting bulbs, but couldn’t find good ones anywhere. These are so much easier than a frosting bag. Just fill it up, put the cover and the tip of your choice on, and squeeze! It’s simply amazing. No more frosting popping out of holes in bag or coming out of the top of the bag. Also, this is these are very easy to clean. I thought it might be a little hard, but it isn’t. I use these with my metal Wilton tips. They fit fine. The 6 tips that come with these frosting bulbs are the same size as regular metal Wilton frosting tips. I can now use my many fancy designs of Wilton frosting tips without frosting getting all over. It stays in the bulb and only comes out when squeezed. I like that it comes with 2 bulbs, not just one, because that means I can use more than one color at a time. Each bulb comes with its own plastic piece to hold the frosting tip in place. And best of all, you can change the tip while you’re using it. It isn’t like a bag, where you have to put the tip through the whole bag. The tips screw onto these bulbs from the outside, which makes it much easier to change tips when you’re in middle of using a color. I am beyond satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to others.

Good for kids to use
This is a useful tool for kids or persons who may not be able to hold a big icing bag. One thing though is that the icing needs to be softened properly or it can be difficult to squeeze out. Also it is hard to get the last bits of icing out because of the rigid shape of the silicone. However, it is relatively mess free and not too hard to clean out. Storage capacity is less than a big icing bag so you'll have to refill it more frequently for larger jobs.

Good quality
This decorating set was a good price @Warehouse Deals, so I couldn't resist getting it. The bulbs themselves are bigger in person and will come in handy while teaching my granddaughter how to decorate her baked goods. She's young, with small hands, and using piping bags is just not a viable option, as it takes more strength and patience than she currently possesses. This set will also be useful to me when I'm using multiple tips and colours in smaller volumes of frosting. The decorating tips are a good basic set with enough variety for a novice decorator to practice with, and are a standard size, so other decorating tips will also fit. Recommended.

Wow Awesome to use keep hands clean
Awesome to use keep hands clean! We decorated gingerbread houses... my husband does not like getting his hands sticky... this does a great job! My granddaughter is only 18months old so her hand coordination not the best but this allowed her to feel like she was a big girl! She iced her own house! And had a blast doing it!
