The most uncomfortable pants I’ve ever tried on

Don’t make the mistake I did, and confused these for the double peak pants, which are some of the best pants I’ve ever owned. The design, especially the zipper and pockets make an extremely uncomfortable inside the pant leg. I returned them, embarrassed for myself for buying them, and for prana for making them.

Good quality

Bought this for international travel. Fits best for slim body, pants will hold up well with temperature change in tropical countries. Will buy another pair, wish they have more colors choices

Pants covered in cat hair?

Received my pants today. Well, I thought they were my pants... These ones were covered in what I'm assuming is cat hair. Very nice pants, but I didn't think I was buying second hand. I will be them sending back

Quality, lightweight pants

TL/DR: Quality, lightweight pants Pros: o Well made o Durable material o Heavy duty button o Convertible to shorts Cons: o Cost This is not our first prAna item, nor will it be our last. For the most part, the items are of nice quality, but the price reflects this: generally, you get what you pay for. These pants are well made from a durable, lightweight material, and can go from pants to shorts with the flick of a zipper(s). How these wear with time remains to be seen, and the cost can be prohibitive, but I’m confident they’ll be a good, hardworking pair of pants. -------- I'm honored to be included in the Amazon Vine program, and I work really hard to make these reviews and videos helpful. Disappointing for a longtime prana pant wearer

Not the prana pant we expected. Weird fit with the zippers , definitely not something you can climb in like the classic Prana stretch Zion. Seems like more geared towards fashion . Awkward fit is tight around the zippers but otherwise looks pretty nice. High cotton content means it’s really not for trail or ridge- maybe ok to stroll around in the city and look like you considered leaving the climbing gym once or twice for an actual rock… but it does stretch so it is comfortable. I think it’s for fashion but seriously who need zip off shorts for fashion. The shorts on their own actually look like retro boy-scout uniform - a little too tight and a little too short—-and not in a good way. The pant legs seem to be flared. I think the pants should quit the whole zip off aspiration and just be pants. with zippers on the hem Of the shorts ???? It’s really like 3.5 stars

Fantastic Pants and Shorts

prAna makes wonderful products. Our family loves them both men and women. We like that the products are made in a sustainable way and that the company does all it can to be a positive force in the world. These pants are really great. Perfect for lounging or hiking but also stretchy enough for working out or rock climbing. The fabric feels wonderful it has enough stretch to it and seems like it will be durable. The zip off pant legs are great for backpacking when you aren't completely sure how the temperature of the day is going to be. The zippers work well but aren't obtrusive like some other zip off pants I've had in the past. Overall happy with the "prAna Men's Double Peak Convertible Pant". Really great pair of pants.

Excellent Convertible Outdoorsy Pants!!

As an avid hiker/backpacker I've tried quite a few outdoor style pants. I like the Prana brand so I thought I'd give these "Double Peak" convertible pants a try. I'm so glad I did! First, they are very comfortable; the cotton/polyester blend fabric is just right. Second, the fit is very good. I usually wear a 33 waist 34 length, and this 33/34 is very close to accurate. It may run slightly large around the waist, but it still fits very well. Third, the material does have a little stretch to it and it is UPF 50+ (Prana's website says so). The fabric isn't water resistant at all, but it does dry quickly. There are two rear pockets without zippers/velcro. This means objects could fall out of the rear pockets if you're not careful. The cargo pockets on the front, however, have a folded cover - you can't secure them shut, but they should keep objects in them because the fold is stitched. There is a small zip pocket inside the right hip pocket - the zip pocket has a loop so you can secure your keys there. I like that - no more worrying if my keys slipped out during a hike! There are also zippers on the bottoms of the legs if you want to widen the bottoms over some big boots. And yes, the zip off convertible shorts option also is great! Shorts one day, pants the next. All in all these are awesome pants. Based on Prana's reputation, I see them lasting a long time and giving me a ton of use in the great outdoors.
